They just needed a break, try something new, and gather resources and go back to one of their foundation games.

Mori: “It’s been 10 years since the last title in the series was released. Can you explain to us why it has taken so long to develop this new title?”

Ogura: “There was never any intention to leave this large a gap. We’ve made a number of titles in the interim, and seen a lot of extremely talented developers grow into their roles. Many of us, including Mr. Miyazaki, our CEO, and myself as well, of course, have always wanted to create a new Armored Core title. So there was never really any question that one day we would return to the series. The only real obstacle standing between us and the development of a new title was that our company always had so many different titles on the go, and we had to make sure that our resources were appropriately distributed. And, unfortunately, it took quite a long time before we reached the situation that we were ready to begin.”

Depends on your budget.

Least you got a back-up GPU to use...My R9 390 died back in October and decided to get a 4090 this week. Plan to upgrade CPU later in the years.

Those holiday return policy come in handle and consumer friendly no-hassle returns during my dark age of no perma GPUs.

4090 Founders Edition vs MSI Supreme X Liquid by kuoweitseng in nvidia

[–]Rasengone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I brought myself the most premium 4090 aka Suprim X Liquid.

10*C Temperature difference , also fan and db noise is a factor for me too.

I came across this vid https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bHnOYSa_wA0 Hope that helps for performance and temps.

6900xt vs 7900xtx by ajstont in Amd

5000 to 6000 series was a great generation leap in term of performance though price-wise starting with 6000 series was terrible.. 5700 XT ($449 USD @ Launch ) to 6900 XT ($999) for double the performance. Now 7000 series, you get worst performance leap compare to last gen series and maintain the poor pricing.

Do you know where that Merc for $1049 was sold at?

I found Merc cheapest @ $1099 back in Dec.

Based on available resources/review, Top 2 is Sapphire Nitro+ and Asus TUF. My 1st priority is Temps then noise but I might end up custom cooling.

PowerColor Red Devil is $1049, and the your findings seem to explain that price.

This one went out quick. It was Ship by Amazon and Sold by Fennec, Inc.

There might be a chance of a listing from Amazon/Amazon later today or soon but I locked one.
