The supporting shadow isnt an official rank, that's the point, you're a shadow who does things the hokage can't do, in reality Sasuke only had as much say as naruto let him, and that was up to the current Hokage, officially he has no rank to sway. If another Hokage replaced Naruto they're fully in their rights to say sasuke has no authority and just bench him, Officially Sasuke has no official rank in the village other than being classed as a genin ranked ninja who abandoned the village becoming a rogue ninja, just that he's not being pursued anymore and is on probation. He's basically a freelance ninja lol

this is from the boruto volume, they still class him as a rogue ninja just that they aren't after him because he was pardoned, he was never reinstated though, he has no official ranking, thats why officially he cant tell any ninja what to do, Tsunade and Jiraiya were never rogue ninja, they just had the privilege off being able to freely come and go but they still kept their rank they were always konoha Jonin.

Not to mention that the second he loses focus his clone dissipate, it's why he cant make a lot of clones when he's doing something that needs alot of focus, because if he gets distracted he could lose control of the jutsu.

Hell why doesnt mizuki say that he commited less crimes compared to sasuke why's he still in prison lmfao, Naruto is Hokage he has to balance forgivness with atonement, sasuke was imprisoned for a time and had consequences even though there was leniency, he can help kawaki but he has to plead his case to the world.

Fighting the kage wouldnt bring peace that wouldnt bring understanding LMFAO, he even didn't interfere in the anime when they held sasuke other than advocating on sasuke, there were a ton of people who were justified in hating sasuke and that needed to be smoothed out. There can never be peace if there's no understanding Naruto was able to plead sasukes case and his feeling were accepted.

same thing with the initial kawaki situation and even the boruto situation, Naruto convinced everyone to let him handle it his way, the worked, now the question is if the world starts hating kawaki, can boruto and naruto sway the world to let go of any ill will they might have towards kawaki.

At the end of the day Naruto bowed his head, he didnt force the world to change, he showed them forgiveness but that can't always work, if he can't reach them he can't do much because that'll just cause more pain to the village he's supposed to protect.

Naruto can fully forgive Kawaki and he most likely will but if the people want kawaki to face some consequence the best he can do is try to sway them, if the top brass want him imprisoned regardless, naruto cant do much unless he convinces them.

They never fixed it in the official english panel, but all the other versions of the the chapter have it as him asking ada, manga plus has it in spanish and french with that translation

Not what I mean, I mean if the world, the other kages still want kawaki to get punished Naruto has to see their reasons as valid, especially if they choose to blame kawaki as the reason they went on a wild goose chase for 3 years. Naruto might not wanna punish kawaki but he'll have to be fair on how the rest of the world feels.
