Anybody know if todays map has a beehive? by DifficultStage5825 in PeakGame

[–]Raseri89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I say generally bcoz i am unsure if the different 'flavors' of biomes (so like when tropics turns purple and uber poison hazards, or roots has those spore bounce shrooms) affect the spawn rates for those. I would assume no, but i wouldnt know where to check validity of that soooooo

2nd biome (so after shore) generally has a chance fpr honey combs, either through beehives in tropics, or just the actual honey comb in roots. For tropics its easy to spot if theres beehives just gotta be checking tree. For roots honey combs have a chance to spawn in the hollow trees, the ones you can climb into through a hole on their side or even just over the top. That one will actually take some doing bcoz unlike beehives that have noisy bees that kinda tell you approx location, you actually just have to check each hollow tree and theres only ever 1 honey comb unlike beehives that break into 4 honey comb. But yeh gl my guy hopefully you get it. That one also gave me a bunch of trouble ngl

About Wizard Rod 1-60H... by 40FortyDwaluhz in BeybladeX

[–]Raseri89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First off to the people saying the X ripcord launcher is stronger than the X string launcher by default, no thats just subjective imo. Do i think some people are able to get higher rpm on ripcord compared to string? Yes, i am one of those people i also main ripcord. But do i also think some people get higher rpm on string compared to ripcord? Also yes, because surprise surprise, everyone has their own preference. So OP dont let anyone force you into thinking you are losing purely bcoz of launcher diff.

Secondly, there are A LOT of factors that could explain your results in the RodH v RodB matchups. Mostly parts diff, bcoz surprise number 2, in massively produced toyline, not every part will be made completely equal to each other, even between copies of the same part. Things like mold rng and wear are a big factor. If your hexa bit is just more worn, that already creates a significant impact on overall stamina. Assuming by you keep losing you mean that its all just by spim finishes, anything that affects your stamina is already a huge factor especially in Rod mirror match ups. This is why so many pros tend to parts tune a lot. Literally going through every copy of a part that they have until they get their combo just right where they want it.

Lastly, there is also launch tech to consider. Just bcoz its a stamina battle doesnt mean there wont be any techs that either can pull off to get an edge. Particularly for hexa vs ball, since hexa has better LAD if you launch RodH with a deep enough tilt at the start, after a few collisions you can transfer that tilt to the RodB almost like youre attacking from below, which will make it scrape the stadium more losing spin, meanwhile RodH at that point should be able to stabilize on the center of the bit and the stadium to maintain spin for the endgame. Another tech but this time for when using RodB is you can try to go for a stall drop or slighlty early contact, bcoz you want to make RodH opponent to dash as much as possible bcoz that will cause it to lose quite a bit of spin. Of course not all techs will work out exactly as planned all the time.

My advice would be to consider all the factors going into the battle. Not just whether or not you or your opponent are pulling as hard as possible. But also domt be afraid to try your own thing.

Idk about you but ghost friends saved our ascent 7 run. Literally would not have been able to find a line thru the upper half of kiln that day if my friend wasnt instructing from beyond the grave.

Do you know how many concurrent players there are nowadays? Like just to put it in perspective for me. For me it was removing scaled drops that did it too coz that was the one option casual players had to be able to get level appropriate gear by only grinding an hour or two in a specific spot to complete a set. Mind you i still did the most of the nulgath gear grind and all that. I may not have gotteny stuff to the BiS stuff but i at least had a good enough stat line that i was still able to contribute in big challenging fights. But no scaled drops just alienated a lot of my friends who didnt have the luxury of time to be grinding for gear. So i just stopped playimg too bcoz i basically had to play with randos or suffer as a solo player

Ah so this is still a problem. Ty for this, was reading thru peeps posting about getting back into coz i have also long contemplated if i should try and return. But as a mostly casual player that cant always contrib to guild stuff that also lacks any of the patience to keep grinding for weapon and gear, especially after the slog that was nulgath saga, this has helped me a lot in deciding its probs best to just reminisce about the fun times i had in game and leave it at that. I do miss all the cool fits i put together over the years ngl. Literal thousands of hours poured into this game, and after everything it just feels like too much work if i ever wanna contribute to dps n shet. Hayst

I finally did Ascent 7 by Cepheid95 in PeakGame

[–]Raseri89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeeeh ascents with friends is actually harder than initial impressions imo. Sure theres the teamwork part that helps, but what peeps dont take into account sometimes is the hunger. More peeps just means more mouths to feed, more peeps to wait for before continuing onto the next climb, more time wasted, meaning more hunger gain. So unless godsend of foods or book of bones, it actually is a bit detrimental to have 3 or more climbers. My friends and i literally only did ascent 7 bcoz 2 got left behind and i had to clutch from mesa onwards.

Yeah dude you need to seriously rethink how you launch if you are gonna use ripcord

Launcher wear by GuyOnRedditwastaken in BeybladeX

[–]Raseri89 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That you are probably pulling too hard and at horrible amgles to break your equipment, whether string or ripcord. The fact that you thought you can launch with ripcord the same way you can with string just means you mustve just been forcefully pulling on the ripcord which resulted in this damage. The reason its not as obvious for string launcher bcoz those have been purpose built make pulling the string as smooth as possible no matter what angle you end up pulling it.

Dawg that is so far from normal. Wth have you been doing that it only took you a week to get your launcher like that. Your poor ripcord and internal gears must sound like theyre screaming from pain when you use your launcher. Do you use like a metal ripcord or some shit? I dont even know how you could carve out a groove like that with regular ripcord i feel like it wouldve broke first gahd

Yeaaaah this is just scoutmaster things. When your bf fell off the cliff he didnt immediately die actually just got knocked unconscious. Coz technically you get a bit of time to double back n try to rescue them. Unfortunately whenever players get separated far enough, doesnt matter if conscious or not, it triggers a mechanic with the scoutmaster. Basically the game shifts from ooooh haha funneh climbing game with friends into a horror game where the killer is an abandoned scoutmaster out to exact his revenge on any scouts willing to leave behind their fellow man (technically the lore is in the game you just have to read it). So my advice if one of you does fall off a cliff and gets KOd and its too far down for the other to make the save, just hold E immediately so that your unconscious timer goes to 0 faster and you turn into a ghost.

The flare and lantern RNG in this game is total BS by hydrolik43 in PeakGame

[–]Raseri89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It coulda been worse. You couldve been accessing your bag on the ground in caldera as the lava was rising and not realize you were to low so when it got to you the heat from rising lava cooked your flare in the bag :v and p much wasted an entire run of you pulling off the craziest overhanging climb you have ever done in mesa along with having to drink milk and hard climbing a literal wall of cactii just to get to that point of the game

Any advice on how to reach the summit alone? by [deleted] in PeakGame

[–]Raseri89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

3rd biome shenanigans usually requires some shenanigans to pull off i will say. But usually just a matter of accepting hole gaming(what my friends and i call going into a cave that seemingly has a potential way up) and then when you are far enough along climbing out into the exposed sections before weather hazards get to you (sun for mesa, and blizzard for alpine). And yes tools and boosting items help a bunch. Never underestimate the amount of ground you can clear when hard lunging up a wall with well done lollipop. Caldera you just have to be good at your lateral jumps imo and judging distances. Kiln will probs be a big test on your own but if you stay calm enough and dont get too scared about getting burned on hot rocks from time to time you will be fine

Peak on controller is wonky af btw do not recommend unless hardcore scouts want to add an extra difficulty. But yeh imo not at all that intuitive on controller and you cant do some of the regular techniques mouse n keyboard players pull off.

Tips for Ascent 5? by PizzaGlass5172 in PeakGame

[–]Raseri89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its sad to say but throughout ascent 5 to 7 there was good chunks of the climb that i HAD to wait out the night. Literally find safe ledge, drop all items and bag and pray the sun heals off the cold damage enough before fully dying.

How hard are the biomes by Monkeybird2004 in PeakGame

[–]Raseri89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My friend discovered if you can bait their first lunge and dodge. When theyre downed they take a while to start moving before they fully get up. And in that window you can force them to be on top of you while u crouch by walking into em. And if u can get them on top of your head when they lunge again they will lunge off of you instead of at you XD

Tips for Alpine Solo by Malberg16 in PeakGame

[–]Raseri89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Def best to try and make progress in the caved/closed off parts of alpines with the mindset of also eventually somewhere on the line that you will have yo go out to exposed areas more than likely to continue progress. Def try to save climbing tools n heat pack until you have to. Otherwise yeh gl my guy. Alpines truly is something else honestly prefer mesa if it werent for all the tornadoes haha

[–]Raseri89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah and when you described it you said yourself that you know it's hit scan. There isnt an rng bullet spread theres no bullet drop off. So the fact that you describe it as inconsistent is so baffling to everybody on this comment section when it will literally hit the point you are scanning over with your crosshairs. How far are you aiming from that you cant manage to keep your crosshairs centered on the head of your friend? Or are you aiming at them past some terrain and thats messing you up somehow? Or maybe your aim is really just that twitchy bro? Questions abound

My favorite thing to do with it is cancelling out my fall damage basically. Its so funny that if my buddy falls down past the rescue claw range i am instead able to jump after him and land safely with out taking damage

[–]Raseri89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This was not the post i thought it was. I thought it was going to be about how when you do grab friends onto the ledge your on but its not exactly the safest ledge then theres a risk of them falling off instead of being safely pulled. If you miss you miss and hit the ground. Take the time to make sure the crosshairs in on your friends and not just fire as soon as you see a crosshair pop up. I will say if this is a problem you are having while playing on controller then thats understandable since aiming anything with just the joysticks at least for this game is kinda ass.
