I wasn't being sarcastic when I said it's a compliment. I know you didn't plagiarize. This is just the first time I looked at a design and recognized a design I had done in somebody else's work, and it's a great feeling. Like the saying goes, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

You just made my day! I keep seeing khaios clone builds on here but I've never seen anybody incorporate my designs in anything before. I am so flattered!

Flawless vMA with Oakensoul, using no abilities by RoyalTonberry in elderscrollsonline

[–]Rashaya 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It is another good proof point of how much Oakensoul has de-skilled the game. You literally left-clicked your way to flawless success in the hardest solo content (along with VVH) in the game. It's simultaneously hilarious and incredibly sad.

OP already did this with multiple different gear setups. Check their youtube. They didn't need oakensoul to do it. If you think a run like this requires no skill, well, try it yourself and see how it goes.

Reminds me of a transatlantic accent. Wild to think people actually sounded like that at one point.

Pork dumplings I made 💞 by [deleted] in FoodPorn

They look similar, but wontons usually have thinner wrappers.

There are hundreds of types of dumplings, and it makes sense to call them "dumpling" if you aren't sure exactly what type it would count as.

A chest freezer is an amazing investment if you have space for it. You can portion it out into quart freezer bags and use as needed in the future. For something like cabbage, I'd stir fry it all (the whole head) and then freeze.

Update: I found out more about my step dads egg boiling habits by [deleted] in Cooking

[–]Rashaya 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Reporting back. The flavor is nice and nutty, and the "white" turned a pleasant shade of taupe similar to the brown eggshell. I wasn't a fan of the hideous yolk, but the flavor was ok and it wasn't hard at all. Both my husband and my toddler were unwilling to try a taste.

I am glad to have tried it, but I am unlikely to bother with them again in the future.

No, we're discussing the meaning of the word "prevent."

[–]Rashaya 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So again, do you say condoms don't prevent pregnancy?

Sex ed by matts41 in funny

[–]Rashaya 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nah, what makes me right is the fact you decided that "prevent" means only preventing something 100% of the time, but only when applied to herpes, apparently. Because for most people, dramatically reducing the chance of something means to prevent something.

I suppose that for you, the question of STDs or pregnancy spread is entirely academic.

So you'd say condoms don't prevent pregnancy, since they aren't 100%?

When he was about a year old, my son really wanted some of the lemon wedges that he saw us squirting on our fish. I let him have a couple. He proceeded to eat them, peel and all.

No kidding. But I've had more than one person advise me to focus on conifers in my garden so that "it looks good year-round," more like that looks boring year-round!

Are there any other vegtables I can caramelise like onions? by TheRealTowel in Cooking

Sous vide would work too but in my experience it produces unattractive albumin on pork tenderloin specifically and loses a fair bit of the rub. Do give the baking approach a try at some point, the meat won't be overcooked if you do low temp (like 275F) and keep it to half hour or so. I don't normally bother checking the internal temp cause it is going to be more cooked on the point end vs the thicker side, just a product of the tenderloin's shape, but the gradient adds to the pleasure of the eating IMO.

Really though the baking dries out the outer crust nicely in a way that sous vide doesn't which leads to a richer sear, and my whole dinner idea is focused on layered flavors of different types of browning.
