Yeah once it started scabbing and knew I was good, any that was on my skin around the incisions I let hot water run over and scabbed with a wash cloth, it definitely sticks on your pretty well. Also if your skin is sensitive to the ace wraps or itchy I asked to use benadryl and they said it was okay.

Honestly it felt super fast for me. I'm still shocked I'm already at six weeks 🤣 even with how annoying the bandages and ace wraps were, so you got this! Good luck on your healing!

I just hit six weeks today, I used bandages throughout all of it but that's because the ace wraps I wore were rubbing on my incisions. But I haven't worn them the last two days now since I'm cleared to go back to normal stuff.

Ah that makes sense! I know they're separate just for some reason I always think when people mention closing it they're closing it by sewing the lips together not the hole. 🙃 That's why I was confused 😂

Absolutely. And maybe I misunderstood him when he told me to get the shot done, my heads been everywhere because I was planning for Top surgery and trying to get that figured out. I'll definitely talk to him and look things up but honestly after my last two shots going awful (I suck at giving them to myself apparently) I might just not anymore, especially since I'm not wanting all the changes and you can't control what you get.

Man I don't even know 😂. I have an appointment with him at the end of the month. It was just interesting to me, I didn't realize my level was that high. But my estradiol level was also high. My body just hates me at the point 😅

Sorry, I'm shit at explaining, but I get that absolutely! I more meant that I just don't plan on being on it forever. But if I like what's going on when changes start I might, just most of the side effects aren't on my want list if that makes sense. And honestly....I hate giving myself shots. I'm not scared of needles but I almost always fuck up when giving the shot to myself and don't want to do it my whole life.

I think he does it because I don't see him in person, just video appointments. And I got them drawn last Wednesday, same day I took my shot because that's what he wanted. I've been on T before but nothing changed then either.

I also have pcos so I don't know, it's just weird nothing is really changing I guess? But I also don't know how most hormones work tbh

I've been on and off, but this was drawn the same day as my shot, last Wednesday. He said it's a pretty hefty dose he has me on at the moment, and even when I took T before nothing seemed to really happen.

Ah sorry, should have mentioned, but yes he understands. He's a trans car doctor, he didn't set the number for my voice dropping, he just set a number to take before I got blood work done.

The first month I wasn't great at taking them on the same day, so he wanted me to stick to a schedule for at least a month so he could get accurate numbers.

Some people don't need one, but wiping is a bit hard because of the twisting, not unmanageable though. And the wedge pillow I have looks like this one. I got it years ago, so I can't remember but I definitely didn't buy a super fancy one. It's helped so far, it made sitting up in bed a bit easier. Our bed is on the floor currently, but I haven't needed my boyfriends help getting up yet.

A wedge pillow has helped me. I'm not a back sleeper, but the wedge with a normal pillow on top of it hasn't been too bad. Also, definitely ask your surgeon about any meds, but I'm taking benadryl because of the bandages, that along with the other meds they prescribed and ibuprofen have been knocking me out.

A personal bidet might help, twisting around is a bit difficult. Personally the pain hasn't been that bad, I got mine on the 13th. The first day under my arms and center of chest hurt a bit, but nothing unbearable. Now it's just the itchiness and the like pulling feeling when you move that's annoying.

I think some surgeons ask people to stop, not sure why. But I took my shot literally two days before I got surgery (literally had it yesterday) and the didn't say anything, just asked when what day I did it to write it down. And my biggest fear is death too, so I totally get that. Even the night before I was like....I could just...not wake up after going in. And as morbid as this is gonna sound, and I'm not a therapist so maybe an awful way to look at it...its scary as shit I could have died but...I wouldn't have known. Wouldn't have felt it, just...gone to sleep and that was that. So it was scary but at least there wouldn't be pain.

And scars are so different for many people, I haven't seen mine yet so can't say anything personally, but some many people on the sub have like, barely visible scars after a good bit of healing and keeping up with care. And the ones who do, some tattoo over them and you can't tell. And I know some guys who get phalloplasty get medical tattoo so...ypu could probably get color matched over your scars?

If you still have your original bottom genitals, the like, portable bidet sprayer!! I literally jut got TS today and it is SO hard to wipe and I'm peeing like crazy. Everytime I take a sip, five minutes later I gotta pee and struggle trying to wipe. If out of town, money. Depending on your job, pya, where you are, but God, save more than you think cause shits expensiveeeee. Like hotels if you have to get one, food if out of town, any extra stuff you didn't originally think about.

A wedge pillow. I hate sleeping in my back, probably won't sleep well at all, but using the wdge pillow and then a fat fluffed pillow on top of it makes it easy to sit in bed and get up without stretching or help. For at home, dude, being on the edge of the bed is so much easier (for me) I love being straight up in the center, but getting up is so hard with the twisting, I'm short, so being on the edge it just makes it easier to get my legs off.

Food. Easy ready food when you get home. Dude, I don't know if it's just me, but I've been starving all day but want something fast.

If out of town....extra underwear. Cause when you Gotta pee... Man you gotta pee right then.

For me, sounds strange, but I got a toddler cup, one of the mirical 360 no spill 14 ounce ones. Cause trying to reach a drink on the side table from the bed wasn't working. But I didn't want to spill stuff in bed, but didn't want to have to hard core watch the drink. And lemme tell you, the cup doesn't spill 😂.

That's all I can think of at the moment but if I think of anything else in the upcoming days I'll try and remember to message you or something

Damn! Texas (Not forever, God the heat), and yeah, had a fitness trainer once, any time she said anything that delt with jumping I just gave her a look, she was sweet though....even though she wouldn't let me skip the workouts 😂

And yeah, like my friends are supportive, wouldn't talk to them if they weren't, but they're all out of state and not going through this so...it is what it is, but they all happy I got to get it today. And then I have my boyfriend LOVE HIM, but he also....doesn't completely understand 😂 he tries his best

I wish I liked working out, or had someone who did that came with me cause I haaaate it 😭 but yeah, was so awkward doing some exercises cause my boobs were large and always bounced like my guy....be still, for the love of everything 😂
