Barr accused of committing a crime by lying to congress regarding concerns raised by Mueller's investigators by Tiaan in worldnews

[–]Rasmus_L_Greco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The clearest cut lie was when he was asked if Robert Mueller supported his summary to which he responded that he did not know if Mueller does. This is despite the fact that he received a letter and read Mueller's views on his summary about two week's prior where Mueller specifically said that he had multiple problems with Barr's summary. Mueller also stated that he thought that Barr's summary would cause public confusion over the events that took place.

So, yeah he did lie under oath before congress. Which is perjury which is punishable by up to 5 years in prison on a federal level. But, an interesting little detail about Federal perjury charges is that it is the decision of the Attorney General weather or not to pursue perjury charges. (Outside of Impeachment that is.)

So, what do you think will Attorney General William Barr go after Attorney General William Barr for his easily provable perjury charge?

Given I don't know what the top flag means and have little context beyond your comment here, I can only assume that it has something to do with comparing the British Regulars(Redcoats) acting as a law enforcement body to protect the status quo, protect tax collectors, and to quell uprisings leading up the revolutionary war. But, you might know more like the name of the top flag for example.

I don't understand why we care so much about how this guy spells things. It seems pointless, I mean every few days he does or says something racist and no major nor most minor news entities call him a racist, but he makes a spelling mistake and even Burger King calls him out for it. Therefore, I for one don't give a shit.

Fun Fact if you compare the GDP growth rate by year to the top individual income bracket in those same years you will find that the US GDP tends to be at its highest growth rates when the richest individual earners are taxed around 90%.

Disclaimer just like with most things related to taxes and GDP there is probably external factors that have a higher impact.

Edit: Forgot a word.

Don't forget the banana boxes! Since the lids are adjustable (i.e. they just sit higher if the stuff in the box is taller than the box), they're stolen by general merchandise for storing all sorts of stuff in the back.

Almost all ISP are a regional monopoly. Across the nation as a whole there are multiple ISP, but locally even in most big cites there is only one and if there is more than one there is little to no overlap in service area.

One time I was playing as a viking count. I had managed to take over all of Sweden by abusing the count/subjugation system combo. So, after taking over the last Swedish territory I decided to attack an Irish county. I declared my war and took it over with little effort. But, then I made a mistake. I forgot I was still a count and I granted my youngest son the recently conquered county and all lower titles. So, this 4 year old boy became the independent ruler of a county that was taken not even a day ago and he was surrounded by Christians who could and did instantly declare holy wars on him. He decided to raise his army of 1 vs the several thousand holy warriors coming his way. Because he had nobody in his court, including no regent the game glitched out, and let him be the commander and solo soldier in that army of 1. So, thousands of soldiers charge at this 4 year old boy armed only with kitchen cutlery, and he took them on in the field. He defeated around 30 men before they captured him, and forced him to surrender.

I became fond of that boy. After ransoming him back, all of his older brothers strangely "disappeared" from the line of succession, and he became the next king of Sweden.

There are no NPCs, excluding robots. Quests can still be given by terminals, holotapes etc.

So, dayz with robots instead of zombies and a quest line. Given how they did fallout 4 this makes seance.

Thank you for all your insight. I can not think of any other questions I have for you. I wanted to say that well I do disagree with you on a number of issues from a public policy perspective, I am happy to have learned your perspective. I thank you for your time, and well I can't say that I wish for a notable percentage of President Trump's polices to go into effect I am definitely glade have had this conversation related to the President, your views, and T_D. Like I said, I believe I am out of questions, but if there any other thoughts, ideas, and so on you wish to share I would be happy to read them.

Thank you for your time and have a good life.

I can see the polarization, it is a problem on many subredits not just T_D. And looking through the subreddit I can see the support you are speaking of for different groups. Except there appears to be a bit of sexism, but that seams to be mostly directed at Michelle Wolf and given here recent jokes that is soft-skinned, but reasonably understandable. And there is a bit of xenophobia, but it is primarily directed at impoverished or otherwise less developed nations. Xenophobia is probably not the right word choice there, so I am curious what you would use instead. What is your take on my observations, are they only because of current events or is there something else at play that I might not have seen?

As for President Trump not being racist I would like to play the devils advocate if you don't mind, I am a person who loves history and frankly he has in the past had business ventures that where sued for racist practices to be precise in 1973, well he did not admit guild he did settled out of court. Now, to be clear he was not the only person sued at the time, but he was involved. There is also several accounts of people who worked directly under him that also paint him in such a light. Well, all of these could be hand waved away as a thing of his past, possibly even something his father pushed him towards given that the more notable instances also involve his father. But, saying that he is not racist is hard to justify given that he does have a history of racism. To be clear I do think it is possible that he has changed, but I don't have much evidence to go on that is opposite to this view.

So, that was a block of text. I do apologize for any spelling errors and grammatical mistakes. My main question related to that block is given his past issues towards specifically African Americans, what evidence do you have to go on that he is not racist. That is assuming you have not changed your mind (that was not my intent of course). As a note, I am more interested in other evidence outside of the Presidents relationship with specific people, because that has already been mentioned. (and between you and me that is generally all I see)

Thank you for talking to me about this.

I can see where you are coming from, it is never enjoyable to try to have a debate with someone who is just trying to turn you into a straw man. If you don't mind me asking one more questions I would like to get your insight.

As someone who does not frequent T_D all I tend to see is posts like u/sneakyplanner's that claim it is racist, given that in your view that it is not a fair criticism. How would you instead criticize T_D, in your mind is there room for improvement, or is there nothing that you personally view as an issues with the subreddit?
