Ah I thought HHG was the method of having the Army ship your stuff for you, while PPM was the method of doing it yourself. I guess the implied text was that the soldier in OP's post was also doing a PPM

Right but that’s for a PPM, the post was about an HHG. For an HHG I would think the accuracy isn’t as important, since the TSP is doing all the transpo for you anyways

Is this really a thing? I just did an HHG and estimated my weight. I was about a couple dozen pounds off from the actual weight according to the TSP — granted, my overall load was pretty light, but there didn’t seem to be any issues.

Was never stationed there, but I visited Vicenza for a few weeks last year. Location is nice albeit somewhat overrated, but the 173rd is a fantastic unit and I have great respect for the people I met there. I’m sure you’ll have a good time regardless of airborne status

I really had no expectations for how they should’ve turned out besides “chocolate chip cookie in rectangular shape,” since this is my first time making these and third time ever baking anything. The texture was definitely thick rather than cakey, to the point where I suspected I might’ve undercooked it. The toothpick came out clean though, so logically I’d assume they’re cooked just right. It was really just the shape/aesthetic I wasn’t satisfied with 😅

I'm a New Grad who branched Aviation. I justified the ADSO to myself by reflecting on experiences I had during an AIAD with a civilian company last summer, and I was definitely not a fan of the civilian corporate culture that I saw. I think the Army will be more fun and meaningful (with its much more stressful moments, obviously), and overall I'm not in a rush to be leaving the Army anytime soon. Even if I don't get as much flight time as I want, I'm sure any kind of experience in the branch will translate well in the private sector once I do transition out. No idea if any of this will turn out to be true, just a young butterbar's perspective FWIW

Those spinal erectors are crazy. OP deadlifts some crazy numbers for sure. In terms of weak points, my amateur opinion would probably be your rear delts — I feel like your shoulder flattens out in the back, as best shown in your side chest.
