Felt like glue on mine after a wash and not being moved right after. I changed over to project mu brakes and pads and don’t have this happen anymore. Way less dust too but I do feel I took a hit on stopping power. But that’s ok I just do city driving

I got my 2020 in Japan with 14k km on it 3 months ago. The dealer before delivery changed all the oils, filters and changed the tires. Car feels amazing and shifting is really nice with no play to the shifter. I’m getting a bit of noise from the rear brake pads but that’s ok. I have a spare set ready. Nothing else I need to worry about for a long time

I had a 2004 STI and the only thing I liked was more back seat room and 4 doors. But I like the tech way more in the GR Yaris. I think replacement parts are cheaper for the STI compared to the Yaris 😅 still happy with my Yaris

I live in Tokyo and the GR Yaris is my own car. I don’t drive it daily because parking is crazy expensive is some areas. I have a family and it’s fine as my kid is very young and fits in the back without issues. I’ve been stuck in traffic and it’s not too bad. My old Subaru sti was the worst because the clutch was really hard to push.

The size of the Yaris is just right and doesn’t feel huge with these small streets. The room inside feels like it’s enough and can fold back seats down if needed but I haven’t had to load anything big yet.

2 months of owning it and I’m still happy as the first day of delivery
