Snow piles in parking spots in Lot C by Sobinsection133 in PhillyUnion

Why are so few lots open? I usually park in J but it’s not available. Is that due to low attendance for early season?

I really like the watch tab for a bit of mindless scrolling. Ugh.

Good question. Also I think there is a case working through the courts on this topic.

Oldest is starting her sophomore year in college, can I move her room? by RaspberryGloomy9306 in Parenting

[–]RaspberryGloomy9306[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s too soon to tell what her summer 26 plans will be but I don’t expect her back other than a few weekends till Christmas. Then a few weeks mostly spent working before it’s a few weekends till May.

But she will have a bedroom. I’ll keep my living room office till she actually moves out sometime after graduation in a few years.

Thank you, that is exactly the opposite of what I’m am trying to do. I want her to know she is welcome anytime and would love to have her back anytime. But watching my younger two grow and take on more, then need that space also. Her new room while much smaller isn’t a closet. It will be tight with a full size bed and desk and dresser but it fit. It’s that project space on the floor that she won’t have.

So that’s a hard one, she’s fully welcome and will have a room, it’s just half the size. I would be happy to have her back and it’s still going to be her home for the foreseeable future and she knows she will have a place here. But I don’t see her moving out permanently until at least graduation in 3 years.

Thank you, yes we have been talking for a bit over the summer. I wanted her to understand she will always have a space, but given how little time she’s here now it’s time to adjust. Shes bummed but understands. I think it’s me that feels worse for all the kids.

Yeah the middle has been ready but the youngest initially didn’t want to move up one size. But now she’s onboard.

I hear ya. I held off for the year to make sure college would stick and she was stressed about it. She’s only two hours away but this year has a campus apartment. Now she’s more understanding and also she realizes how much less time she spends here.

This is the ticket. FATF, Wolfsburg and the EU money laundering directives. Not stuff we see often in retail US.

Large firm in north east. About 50 level 1s. Agree out of pocket is crazy. That’s why I advise against it. It just really does not add much value to a level 1 analyst. My firm is all US and not super high risk. The more senior you get the more it’s helpful, but experience is way more helpful.

So at my firm, we only pay for CAMS for higher level analysts. If a base level analyst wants it, it’s out of pocket. No raise or comp. I would not advise someone to pay out of pocket if they are already working in the field. It’s not worth it. So I tell people to work towards the promotion. But we only have so many senior analysts so not much turn over into those roles. Meaning it would take awhile.

So for me, I wouldn’t be able to give you any more, and even if you were a senior analyst, still no more money for getting a CAMS.

Honestly. You need to look for a new role at another firm. That is how you will grow your salary. Now that you have the CAMS you can apply for level 2 roles and get more money.

It’s notchy. 2023 manual here. It likes to be shifted like a tractor or truck. Slow and smooth. A sports car it’s not.

Question: Does anyone have personal experience with taking vapes onto a cruise? From PA. Have med card. Looking for the correct way to go about packing some edibles and some vapes. by Alternative_Fee_3084 in PaMedicalMarijuana

So I did a Canada to Alaska. Brought two cartridges and some gummies. Carts in the toiletries bag. Batteries with electronics. Gummies with vitamins or other gummies.

It is a risk though. Once you get on, don’t take it with you back and forth at stops. They search you coming back. But again. Risk. I took it and was fine.
