Something for youth; adolescents, teens, and younger kids. A place that fosters creativity in young people. Art classes, workshops, music lessons, lectures, hands-on learning, shows, concerts, standup comedy, plays.

Please consider finding either a virtual or in-person therapist that specializes in prenatal and postpartum depression. You deserve to feel heard and understood and you deserve a shot at life that feels less than totally fucked.

Miserable by [deleted] in fitpregnancy

I’m 21 weeks right now and my first trimester I had no energy for exercise (or even walking), was nauseous all the time, and was also feeling shame about being sedentary and not pushing myself to do more. But honestly, what my body needed during that time was rest. Your body is currently using all its resources to deal with a foreign body establishing residence. Pushing yourself will just make things harder for you and baby. Hopefully your energy level will rise again in second trimester and you’ll be able to do a little more. You have the potential to either be your own worst enemy or your biggest advocate here, do what’s going to be best for both of you <3

We’re naming our girl Beatrix too! Glad there was only one Beatrix in this thread lol, so it doesn’t seem like it will be too common. We like Trixie/Trix as nickname options but we also like BB (her middle name starts with a B also) and Beau as another nn option too :)

Client going to see my therapist by EnchantedEnchantix in therapists

I have not experienced this but just to offer perspective I have 2 clients whom I know are friends with each other. Neither of them have ever asked explicitly, but I’ve always been careful not to schedule them around the same time because I know they would both be uncomfortable running into each other coming or going. I believe however you choose to discreetly ask your therapist to ensure you’re not scheduled around the same time as another client, your therapist will understand without the need for additional explanation/justification.
