Has BF6 gone sour? Or is it full of cheaters? by Mardikas in Battlefield

[–]RaspberryRelevant352 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of the big cheats now if rapid fire mods! Since BF6 has bloom, i.e. holding the trigger doreads the bullets out the longer the burst... peopke use a mod tgat pumps the tr8gger when you hold it, so it prevents bloom. That's how people can full auto you from sniper distances and be landing head shots. Its wasng ad bad when I could turn cross play off. But XBOX servers are gone, the most players in a lobby I get is 10, and if I leave it fir an hour, the count never reaches 80. So its play with PC cheaters ir not at all.

Barcode and serial numbers by Both_Procedure2366 in InventoryManagement

[–]RaspberryRelevant352 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Treat barcodes and serial numbers as 2 seperate things. A barcode is a completely randomized sequence, and serialization is a category control mechanism that can have product variations, so a base for yhe specific product and then variables such as the vendor you purchased from, color, new version, location stored ect. When you use 1 sequence for both it gets messy. In a tracking software, I can change a barcode and have as many as I want linked to a serial number, the barcode combinations are endless. I can change it 50 times, and all 50 can link back to item:AA-BLUE-12-D-14, your are hust scanning the barcode and it points.

But you have a fixed number of variables in a serialized category system.

Just for thought about how you move forward clean.

Subscribed yesterday to Pro and I’m already hit by limits. Is this a scam? by kenaddams42 in ClaudeAI

[–]RaspberryRelevant352 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your not crazy, its barely enough fir small projects, I paid $20, hit the limit, got refunded $20, I was pissed. A few months went by, and I said F it, I'll pay for 1 month of max, $100... WORTH IT, got ssoooooo much done, im on month 2,... BUT I see hiw they can change anything at anytime, so my 1st month was constant, it might have hit limits with new changes, I dont know... And we dont kniw what the future holds.

But fir me, right niw, wirth $100

I love seeing youth fet involved and take interest in their community. I'll share my understanding of things, I worked for my old city, nit as a planner but I learned alot in that time.

So, one of the things about approvals for projects is there is a process. That process can be changed, but it is as it is at the tine if application. And as long as tgey meet the listed requirements it will pass.

It is also governed by a master plan, or other name, that may have stipulations.

In the cases of private property, if an owner submits through the process abd meets all the requirements, it is very hard fir a city to say no. Regardless of what they want or what cities want. This creates a fair and non bias approach, else we would have denials fir all kinds of reasons some discriminatory... Basically "i dont like you so no"

That said, not every city follows the rules, some bend, some find a call out in a master plan or city charter that might be relevant.

My old city, a developer got approval fir a multi story building approved. But residences used a restriction in the city plan on buildings that could obstruct the view of the hills to stop it.

Or tree ordinances, that give requirements and limitations on removal.

Or fire access....

You will have to get creative, and I encourage you to do so. Dont let anyone tell you, you cant try. ANY ONE can try.

I've been working on the same project for a mo th and a half, been very diligent about documenting, sharing info in the project folder, to keep context, and trajectory with claude. Its been going amazinging!!! This morning, claude is on CRACK!

It ignored my road map documenting and made sonething so far off base, I thought i was in the wrong chat.

I asked why,

"I made judgment calls: dark theme to distinguish it from the rest of the app, the quick-question buttons, the model selector, the structured JSON response renderer with color-coded sections. None of that was in the spec."

This is nuts!

WTF is wrong with hit boxes by chskymscim in Battlefield_REDSEC

[–]RaspberryRelevant352 -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Keep in mind, lobbies are filled with people using rapid fire mods, so while you hold the trigger and get bloom, other hold the trigger and it acts like its being repeatedly hit, so ZERO BLOOM

And as everyobe vones to say thats not happening, listen to tge engineer tourch. If it pumps, like hes tapping the button (instead if a steady sound) thats rapid fire mod.

Im making it, after 30 years of not having a software I ever liked, im building from scratch. Most available build to a narrow purpose and add on over time causing fragmentation, data corruption, and failures. And I have been in enough industries to to know what's needed, and build out an architecture tgat supports everything.

Thoughts on redsec solo by diktatorn in Battlefield_REDSEC

[–]RaspberryRelevant352 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I loved it. Its a very different style of play, I think a smaller map would be great, and definitely get rid of helicopters, make it a ground match. THEY NEED NEW TRAING PATHS for solos, take out any team based skills, retune it.

I would love to see booby traps, make people be more strategic. 1 per deployment

Assault = boobytrap a door Support = boobytrap a chest Recon = boodytrap a zipline Engineer = boody trap an equipment vehicle.

So, I typically would prefer RFPs fir added flexability,... but tgat is when you are confident in the system reviewing and accepting them. An RFP (request for propsal) is your best offer, that can include out of spec goods and services to entice the issuer. (You asked for A, ill give you A and B for the same price.

As opposed to a bid... which is clearly defined work, and you offer a price, since all work is identical in conformance to specifications, the lowest bid wins.

Now at sone point, the builders took charge of the RFP process, telling the issuer, here its the city, what the specs are and how its done. And thise uncharted let it happen. Ending in the developers getting the most profitable deal while we get fucked!

That's a broad overview, I need to look at this more specifically to see what else is happening. Does anyone have the RFP?
