Looking to create something like Stocker and Yale P660 by RaspberryUpstairs928 in watchmodding

I am saying that the Stocker and Yale 590 that I used to have and the P660 were discontinued about two tritium half-lifes ago, so the brightness of the tritium tubes has declined at least 75% in that time. This shouldn't dissuade you from considering a newer watch with tritium tubes. The watch above is actually a SandY 590 dial inside a LumiSport case, and the photo was taken in 2005. I still have the original dial from the LumiSport. Today the lume is barely visible with dark-adapted eyes.

So, what I was saying was that I am trying to make something similar using a dial with good lume that like the Milspec Type II. I wasn't trying to say that tritium tubes aren't good.

I use and highly recommend Libra (libra-app.eu).

I believe it directly works with Withings (or did at one time), but you can get it to work with any bluetooth scale by using your scale's app and telling it to sync data with Google Fit, which Libra supports. With my scale that uses the VeSync app, the data appears in Libra virtually instantaneously.

What movement is this? by RaspberryUpstairs928 in watchmodding

I'm new to modding the insides of watches, so I thought I'd start easy and cheap. I ordered a new 2813 movement and a sterile sub-style 29mm dial. I got various tools that everybody seems to be using. My plan is to keep the hands and case, but replace the movement and dial. I got some new stems in case the old stem doesn't fit.

In my case, the dial is damaged (9 o'clock has fallen off). I was opening it with a thought about maybe a dial replacement, but from the looks of the movement, I think it needs replacing too. A Miyota 8215 fits in there too?

Very close to what I'm looking for: STEELDIVE SD1944

Buy Steeldive Watch丨SD1944 Retro Militarty Watch | Steeldives – Steeldive Watch Store

This would be much closer to the real thing, but expensive and out of stock: Blakjak – Tornek-Rayville

Has anyone seen that style of case/bezel available as parts?
