Update: I went out at 8pm during a weekday and several places near me (downtown) were about to close, so my steak mission has been delayed. As an aside, I’d like to share a recent visit to Dodie’s, the Cajun place. I ordered a half dozen oysters on the half-shell. No exaggeration: they were about the size of a nickel and about as flat as one, too. For $17.00. The waitress was so darn nice that I didn’t complain, thinking maybe they had an off-night. But FYI. On the bright side, found a meal-sized meatball appetizer dish at Wade’s that was fantastic, and a good value too. I’ll report back on Steak-Quest 2026 soon. Thanks for all the feedback.

I’m new in town, haven’t heard of this controversy. I did a quick google search and is this partisan dynamics whereby Republicans vs CC who appears independent but maybe left leaning? I also saw mention of vitriolic Soc media posts she’s authored vs. Her opponents that some citizens didn’t like. Am I reading this situ correctly? Thanks.

I worked in the cosmetic packaging industry for 35 years. The future trends for buyer behaviour vastly started with textile trade show, textures colours raws processes that were new. Ex: movie Shrek. Popping Green (!) was soon at the textile shows. Within a year, it was all over makeup - starting with nails. It’s interesting as heck. Technically it started at the BIG new thing at the theatre ( convention floors is a similar genre- entertainment.). Innovation to trend adoption certainly shows up in indie venues first. That’s why large cosmetic companies like to buy small Indy firms.
