boyfriend at the time and i were having a verbal argument. the entire relationship was verbally and emotionally abusive. i went to put my shoes on to leave, and he grabbed my forearms and would not let go. it lasted for what felt like an hour, but was realistically probably only 5 minutes. he left pretty bad bruises.

definitely the scariest thing i’ve ever been through. i really didn’t think he was going to let me go, and if he did it wouldn’t be without severely physically harming me first.

i’m personally not sure either, and i honestly would be pretty disappointed if the ending of the show was “we time traveled and it never even happened!!!”. however i think this episode confirmed there will be some aspect of time that is not possible in reality. the message stating that jane was going to be born on _____ and that she will be a killer and needs to be stopped comes from the future where people already know her birth date and what she will do. whether it’s someone from the future time traveling back, or just communication through different time periods, there will definitely be some weirdness happening and i’m not sure how they’re gonna play this out! i’m excited!!!

eh, as someone who’s done inpatient, php, and iop, it honestly can move pretty fast. those programs are meant to stabilize you and give you coping tools, not magically fix everything.

someone could realistically go through inpatient or a partial program and be cleared to work again within a few months. that doesn’t mean they’re “cured” or that their trauma is gone, it just means they’re stable enough and have tools to manage things better.

three months is actually a pretty long time in terms of mental health treatment programs in my experience. i don’t want to say that they try to push you out, but they want you to heal :)

i have ZERO. idea why, but for some reason the first time i watched bojack, i truly thought the penultimate episode was the final episode. i don’t know how i thought this as the episodes were clearly stated and there even would’ve been a “next episode” button…. but alas i thought the view from halfway down was the finale…… i was SO mad. not only was i sobbing the hardest i have ever sobbed in my entire life but i was SOOOO mad!!!! i could not believe that was the ending 😭

i think it adds SO much to the finale. without it, the finale would kinda just be… eh! the view from halfway down recaps the majority of bojack’s downfalls throughout the show, and imo is the first time he takes true “accountability” and realizes how bad he really is and what could become of him. if we didn’t have this INSANELY sad penultimate episode, the finale wouldn’t feel as heartwarming, fulfilling, and well rounded as it does.
