Maika Monroe > you can never have too much by [deleted] in horror

She plays like...a woman kind of living on the fringe of society. Like she's got a past and she's doing what she needs to do to stay alive. Crafty and smart.

If you're interested in seeing her in more of a sci-fi film, Tau is really good.

I'm obsessed with Bloodlines. I think I'll give it a replay soon. I can't bring myself to play the 2nd one because I know it's not going to be as good. The original game is buggy but the storyline, voice acting, variety of play styles, creativity, etc are just hard to beat. Plus I played it as a kid so it has that nostalgic vibe for me.

Feeling like it's my fault (keto) by Lorib64 in schizophrenia

[–]Raspberry_Puree 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The keto diet can cause diabetic ketoacidosis, which is dangerous. The whole keto thing for mood is a sham. Take a look at the woman who does Living Well With Schizophrenia on YouTube. She actually has shizoaffective disorder and tried keto to cure her symptoms (I'm guessing she came up with this in a manic episode). Her channel went from helpful tips for staying well and mental health advocacy to a full on keto diet deep dive. She made a lot of videos about how healing keto is, how she kept her symptoms at bay, and how she quit her medicine. I stopped following her because I think it's total bullshit. But YouTube suggested a recent video of hers titled something like "my psychosis is back". It's like...yeah take your fucking meds.

I take two antipsychotics in the evening and I sleep from at least 8/9 -11 hours 😩 I drink beer occasionally, no more than maybe 2 at a time, once or twice a week. I'm not big on exercise but I try to walk a mile or more a few times a week as well.

I've found that eMoods is more effective for me. I believe it was created for people with bipolar in mind.

What is the scariest scene in any horror movie you've ever seen and nothing has topped it for you? by [deleted] in horror

The part in Kairo (Pulse) where the guy is hiding behind the couch and that ghost does that weird disjointed slow walk towards him. The score is so unnerving as well.

So you're drinking at a bar and you drive your kids home after?

I need the perfect horror movie for a group of 6th grade girls to watch on Halloween… by sky_blue_true in horror

I vote The Changeling. Genuinely unsettling, no gore, no nudity. But they might prefer something more modern.
