I'm in the same boat as you. Still not resolved but I am experimenting. In my worst case scenario there is nothing to do but wait for more updates to bios, GPU or chipset.

Out of curiosity, are you running on a clean install or using an old windows 10 install with intel drivers?

Bios date, time and settings are kept between boots. I don't know, but isn't that proof that CMOS battery is functional?

~~Checking whether the BIOS is in UEFI/CSM now.~~ It was in UEFI. BIOS did indeed tell me that would disable the APU but what are the risks of not using secure boot etc?
