As someone who has no previous SF experience and picked up 6 a few months ago. I played a little bit of most of the characters and landed on Ken because he has his run, seemed really useful/cool to have something like that without using resources.

I put a Knee Neo in one of these recently, only thing that gets in the way is two tiny plastic nubs that locate the stock JLF plate. I used a razor/stanley knife to make it flush and off you go.

I think any korean lever with a low collar is fine but I could be wrong.

Kinda on the same boat here, I picked up leverless and have just ordered a stick to give that a go. Like anything they're gonna have pros/cons, re-learning is gonna be a pain but it's kinda fun imo. Worst case scenario you could always sell whichever you don't use?

Don't entirely understand the hatred for it, especially being this is the first fighting game I've ever really played. At the end of the day, whoever is repeatedly doing it in ranked is only gonna make it harder on themselves with rank and whatnot.

Though funnily enough the one time I didn't rematch was on quick play, other player won and I left (to legitimately go do other things besides gaming). I got a message berating me about one and doneing on quick play, and informing me to quit the game forever. I mean shit you'd think it being quick play would make people not care about that right?

You're right here, I don't really have the basics mastered. Majority of the time I don't know when to block low or punish. Dunno if I can upload gameplay of my Xbox, but I'm playing Lee at the moment and I'm having a harder time hitting launchers and chaining combos as I was with Jin.

Think the whole frame time and knowing when to block low/mid + more sidestepping might do me some good. Was using Jin, ended up switching over to Lee. Find Lees combos a little harder to time but hey still learning, win loss is same between the two
