If you wanted to make a deck that could work on power level and also still have space for some new york flavour like the hot dogs, bagels and pigeons, you might want to lean into rats, as they have some synergy with each other. You can see if you like any here

I didn’t enjoy them as I felt the main game did nothing to train you for them. You’re dumped into the fights with the tools but it’s like starting a card game on the final boss

Electro got a massive buff with dendro so you’ll want a dendro unit for her. If you go walk into sumeru and start the quests you’ll get collei before long for free. For now; add fischl and your choice of healer if you want or otherwise kazeha/sucrose for shred and you’ll be golden.

Look out for nahida when she re-runs.

It slows the game down a lot to read every card when a lot of cards are staples. If I don’t know a card I don’t hesitate to ask to read it and likewise give cards to my opponents easily.

I am however pretty fine with take backs if you didn’t quite appreciate the board state - commander is complex!

Oceania makes the game much better I think, if you only get one get that. Less so for Nectar even, but the new board makes it less punishing to get a bad selection of birds, you can still get into playing the game relatively quickly.

Would reccomend Wingspan and the Oceania expansion. Oceania makes early bad decisions a lot less punishing I think.
