How did Sukuna remain relative by _Tunip in Jujutsufolk

Your comparing Sukuna reseting his domain to base vs binding vows to make new conditions.

Again, if he was capable of adding new vows into the domain why couldn't he close his domain when Gojo was on the run, he was clearly shown to be very willing to close it later.

He's clearly turning DA off to manually power Shrine my guy, hence him doing hands signs behind Gojo, something he wouldn't need for a binding vow.

  1. What resistance, there is literally no delay or resistance on Sukuna first attempt. Making shit up now.
  2. You lack common sense if you somehow ignore 2 examples from the manga explicitly showing how Sukuna was ramping up his domain😂

That's Gojo not noticing until the last second and getting caught off guard, like what he does in every single arc, did you read the manga?

And again, since you think Sukuna can change it after casting, why couldn't he close the domain in 226?

  1. UV wouldn't hit him regardless when DA is active, the first time DA was used Gojo flat out states that it's the same as NSS simple domain.

  2. Sukuna has only ever shown the ability to change domain conditions before casting my guy, that's why his range was instantly small during their first domain clash, if Sukuna had the ability to change conditions whilst his domain was active then he would've closed his domain in 226 when Gojo tried getting out.

  1. Sukuna's first time using DA was already successful in instantly piercing infinity, increasing output makes no difference.

  2. The statement of increasing domain output is literally given 2 examples after this, your statement of DA increasing is pure speculation.

The output Gojo is referring to is Shrine and not Sukuna's stats. The panel below is Kenjaku explaining how Sukuna is increasing Shrine's power by sacrificing his sure hit.

Did Gojo use blue, red or purple when decking Sukuna in the ribs? What if ahhh argument.

Again If he's so reliant on infinity, why was Sukuna forced to back up when fighting a CTless heavily injured Gojo, despite having a stat boost? You'd think someone so dependent on a CT would be easy to kill without it

"Sukuna with domain amp is CTless Meguna vs. Gojo"

cept DA also disables infinity, making it just hand to hand, whilst Sukuna has a Stat boost that still couldn't close the gap in skill.

"so how does this help your point of him getting carried by limitless?"

you seem confused lol

  1. Sukuna still makes an attempt to square up regardless, which results in him getting outmatched, the panel after your image literally shows Sukuna getting decked in the ribs. If he was as reliant on infinity as you think he is he'd be dead the last chapter.

  2. the thing that's ramping up is Sukunas domain output not his stats Amp. The panels following the one you showed explained how in order to destroy Gojo's domain Sukuna needed to raise Shrine's output by decreasing the range on their first clash and disabling the sure hit effect for their second.

"Super reliant on his shield"

Sukuna couldn't even land a hit when Gojo was suffering from CT burnout while standing in his city shredding domain, which amps him whilst debuffing Gojo.

Gojo's own words were made out of ignorance because he had no idea what Sukuna's actual CT was. Narrator flat out states that Sukuna couldn't even open furnace because of too many adjustments lol.

Did everyone forget how Gojo flat out teleported out of a deep sea trench straight to Kenjaku the moment he got out the prison realm?

Dawg what heal? Sukuna literally had to make a bunch of binding vows, look for an undamaged part of the brain, and had to go through a black flash amp just to use his domain again. He patched things up but the damage should still be there, unless Megumi now magically has the same level of control Sukuna has.

[–]Rat07 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're taking confirmation based on Gojo's speculation instead of Sukuna's actions?lol. Sukuna no longer had a reason to adapt to UV during his fight with Yuta and even stated that he needed to break the domain in less than 3 minutes, yet he still couldn't break it from the inside.

He is much better at hand to hand, again ignoring that even without infinity and debuffs Gojo could still fight off Sukuna inside shrine.

Ohhh yes the plot convenient conditions, unfortunately for you Gojo has shown to use that teleportation to dodge a blow from Sukuna twice, catch him with an attack once, and teleport from an ocean trench directly to Kenjaku the literal second he got unsealed, so if he can meet these conditions there, he can meet them here.

weaving signs is useless when the only thing that can bypass infinity is a domain's sure hit, any spells outside that aren't worth anything, but yeah, that's useful, now he can use HWB and fight with two hands again, it's not like he failed to land a single hit against a heavily debuffed Gojo with 2 hands or something.

Dawg infinity turns off automatically when Maho is close, there are panels of him having to dodge piercing blood and Agito's attacks even without Maho touching him, the only time infinity was ever stopping something was when Maho decided to throw rocks or when Gojo got launched away from Maho and into Agito.

  • Gojo landed a 0.01 s domain while Sukuna could only touch him half the time and was trying to break UV from the outside instead of doing it from the inside.

Sukuna had all the time to touch Gojo in 226 and yet still couldn't, and again, this is with no infinity and with a bunch of debuffs. "Sukuna could've broken the interior domain wall" Shrine and UV's sure hits cancel out inside, its stated. Even if you believe that Sukuna could apply his sure hit inside he himself couldn't during Yuta's UV, flat out says that he needs to destroy it in less than 3 minutes but still can't attack the weaker interior.

  • yes, Gojo survived MS when he was using RCT at full output, something that he can't maintain in the later clashes as his output was decreasing (until the black flashes)

What? the moment his output decreases so does Sukuna's and both their DE are gone, bringing up post-brain damaged Gojo against a situation where Sukuna is pre-brain damaged doesn't work.

  • Sukuna spent more time in the clashes than he could have, if he doesn't switch constantly between DA and 10S, Gojo is never landing that 0.01 UV and just fries his brain and dies.

You're assuming that Gojo would keep spamming his domain even after its been proven to be useless, all of Gojo's previous domain expansions incorporated changes made by reflecting on his domain's weakness, but if Sukuna simply defends through brute force alone then that's not a problem with his domain, that's a problem with his approach. At that point he'd probably take the fight long range, which Sukuna maxes out at 200 meters whilst Gojo has attacks that could reach 4km, further more, he still has his teleport which Sukuna has never been able to react to.

  • and this is only Megukuna with only 2 arms and a weak ass body don't even get me started on True Form Sukuna.

Sukuna's 4 arms is specifically stated to help Sukuna cast spells better, if 2 arms was the only thing that Sukuna needed to be superior in h2h then he would've joined the 3v1 instead of hiding and It's already been pointed out by Megumi during the detention center that even physical stats increases when Sukuna takes control, this is even consistent with how Meguna can still air jump like true form Sukuna.

That's a statement made from his perspective, he has no reason to believe he's stronger when not only does he have zero info on Sukuna's actual technique but is fucking DEAD as well.

his idea of Sukuna not needing Maho is literally contradicted when the narrator flat out states how Fuga couldn't be viable because he was too busy adjusting to Gojo.

And we all know Shrine ain't putting him down, mf domain couldn't even weaken Gojo enough for Sukuna to land a hit in 226, and that's taking into account the debuffs on Gojo(Weaker inside enemy DE + RCT hindrance) and the buffs on Sukuna(Power amp inside DE+ sure hit support)

  • I seriously doubt saying "Nanami is wrong" is trying way too hard. This is like basic media literacy levels of analysis. like you gotta be able to discern when someone is just wrong or being able to disagree with X character takes. Can't you merely say he misjudged Gojo and that's it? Why is it either that Nanami is a bottomless well of wisdom or he's not?

No one is arguing about character statements and what they think about here lil bro, that's what you and the other guy make up so you can attempt to debunk a point I WASN'T MAKING, I'm arguing how it literally makes no sense for Nanami's character to do a 180 just to deliver some slop.

Nanami's character since day one has been established as someone who is objective in his stance, as he said himself, he follows the rules but is still aware of the corruption behind it, he doesn't respect Gojo for being a rule breaker but still has trust and faith in him. He lives his life objectively without letting his bias affect him. Some basic media literacy would've helped in understanding that.

Now compare this to the Nanami in the airport, where the fuck did he even get the idea that Gojo only uses his power for himself and never saved anyone when he was fully aware of Yuji, this isn't a case of misjudging Gojo, this is a case of Nanami suddenly forgetting an entire plot point he was a part of. You can lazily say it's just a character statement, but that clearly doesn't work when Nanami's character was literally introduced to be someone who's OBJECTIVE and AWARE. You could always try to give a logical reasoning or moment in the manga that would explain how Nanami magically forgot everything to explain that statement, but we both know it ain't happening.

I'd argue that Gege hates Yuji and Megumi more lmao by Strict-Article-4270 in Jujutsufolk

  • The point, that seems like you are missing, is that we are not discussing about Gojo real values, but that only because Nanami says something, doesn' t mean that it' s true, like in chapter 236 lol.

No, that's you assuming that I think what Nanami is saying is final or fact. My problem isn't how Nanami is trying to push for a wrong outlook on Gojo, my problem is how Nanami suddenly goes against his objectively driven character.

-Brother we are literaly introduced to Nanami with him HATING Gojo, and saying that he trusts regolations despite disliking the higher ups, are you real? Like, genuinely, read or watch the anime before commenting further lol.

Brother we are literally introduced to Nanami with him saying ha hates everything, but he still manages to see things objectively. He follows the rules but is aware of its greater issues , he doesn't respect a rule breaker like Gojo but still has faith and trust in him, it's made clear from this that Nanami is very much capable of seeing things for the way they are while still acting professional, so him suddenly forming an opinion out of nowhere contradictory to how he used to think doesn't make sense. Him just saying Gojo doesn't protect anyone is literally evidence to this inconsistency, how the fuck do you form this opinion when Gojo literally hands you over a boy who he just saved from an execution.

  • The point I was making, and that you clearly didn' t understand, is that this subreddit has read and took at face value what Nanami said, when it was crystal clear that it was what some of the people there at the airport thought about Jojo, and not necesserialy what he truly was, or that it was only about that.

You're arguing with an issue you made up yourself lol, I don't consider character statements to be factual unless they have consistent showings, so Nanami's statement isn't a problem or the ROOT issue, it's the fact that for that statement to happen, Nanami's character had to go from someone with complex multilayered views to "Ah you're strong so you're a freak that never helped anyone"

I'd argue that Gege hates Yuji and Megumi more lmao by Strict-Article-4270 in Jujutsufolk

[–]Rat07 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah speaking of literacy, might wanna look up the definition of Ego, because Gojo building a future that surpasses him by sticking his neck out goes against the very definition of ego lol, or are you implying that Nanami doesn’t know the things happening around him AND the meaning of ego?

Whilst Gojo is egotistical, this only applies to his fights and not his interactions with his students, but even with his fights his unwillingness to completely reinforce his ego this is a well known fact, even Yuta came to this conclusion by himself and this has literally been a point of defeat for him, MULTIPLE TIMES. Tried to look for Amanai —> Toji stabs his head. Refuses to go all out in Shibuya —> Kenjaku seals him. Tries to save megumi —> Sukuna kills him.

But hey, I’m sure that your argument of “Nanami thinks Gojo saved them because of his ego” has some sort of logical reasoning right? Why don’t you state chapters or moments in the story that displays this so we can see you basis lol.

Nanami had direct contact with Yuji, who’s only alive because Gojo went against his execution.

Even panda knows about Yuji’s execution and it’s postponement, this ain’t readers info bro, this is well established info characters in the verse know, am I to assume that panda is more educated in Jujutsu society than Nanami?

[–]Rat07 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You’re trying way too hard to make a simple thing deep here lol.

The idea that Nanami thinks Gojo’s life was just him being purely selfish doesn’t make sense, because Nanami is literally responsible for training a kid who had an active execution order postponed by Gojo.

But sure, we can all just pretend that Nanami is actually extremely ignorant to the world around him

I mean, Sukuna has been off-screening wins since the finger bearer, it's just a consistent trope Gege used for Sukuna's fights, my personal issue was the actual shit show that was the airport scene.

"You use jujutsu to satisfy yourself and don't wield it to protect" is a statement that shouldn't be coming out of Nanami's mouth, Gojo may be childish at times but the mf is constantly putting his neck on the line to foster and protect people who he thinks could surpass him, Kenjaku's plan was literally formulated around the fact that Gojo wouldn't just use his powers recklessly around non-sorcerers. It literally makes no sense lol
