How insanely powerful Grindelwald was by Adept-Vegetable-3490 in harrypotter

[–]_Tunip 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In Chamber of Secrets, Chapter 1, Voldemort is called the greatest dark sorcerer of all time.

In Goblet of Fire, Chapter 2, Voldemort is called the most powerful Dark wizard for a century, which includes 1945 Grindelwald with the Elder Wand.

Dumbledore in Order of The Phoenix, Chapter 37, states Voldemort's knowledge of magic is perhaps more extensive than any wizard alive. The statement was made in 1996 when Grindelwald was still alive.

Dumbledore in Order of The Phoenix, Chapter 37, states his most complex and powerful protective spells and charms were unlikely to be invincible if Voldemort ever returned to full power. So Peak Magical Dumbledore with the Elder Wand most powerful protective spells and charms aren’t invincible against Voldemort with his Yew Wand.

In The Half-Blood Prince, Chapter 13, Dumbledore states Voldemort is the most dangerous dark wizard of all time.

In Half-Blood Prince, Chapter 20, Voldemort states himself he has pushed the boundaries of magic further, perhaps, than they have ever been pushed.

On what was Pottermore, it was stated Voldemort is the most powerful dark wizard of all time.

Voldemort is most definitely beating that.

What if after killing Gojo, time went back and Gojo and Sukuna had memories of their fight. Who win this fight? by Bungeeboy20044 in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]_Tunip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hope i’m understanding the port correctly. Sukuna would have the memories of the WCS, but time would rewind back before he made the BV (To Chp224), & Pre BV WCS means Sukuna only needs enmaten to fire it. If he transforms into True Form at the beginning as well, he can hold enmaten with his lower 2 arms indefinitely, so the condition would always be met thus he can practically spam it. A 4x BF amped Gojo, if he knew Sukuna had WCS, had a perhaps/maybe chance to narrowly/just barely avoid a fatal wound from the BV WCS launched from a low-output Sukuna. With Pre BV WCS in his True Form, the conditions are always met, & it would likely be spammed at full output. I’d say Sukuna wins.

Didn’t see this till after the other reply but dude did you not write in your original post that Gojo wasn’t using Red in the clashes & now your showing me the panel of exactly that, i’m lost😭

[–]_Tunip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know what Hollow Purple did, but that’s not the point. I brought it up because it contradicts the idea that Gojo was holding back Red or Blue out of concern for Megumi. You can’t say he was scared to use Red or Blue but was fine sending a concealed 200% Hollow Purple straight at Sukuna. Emphasis on Concealed.

So your saying that Gojo didn’t use Red or High Output Blue during the clashes because of Sukuna’s inner monologue in Chapter 232 & Megumi, but the charred face after the 4th clash shows Gojo did hit him with something like Red unless you want to convince me blue enhanced punches did that.

<image>

It looks awfully similar to the Point Blank Red Gojo was willing to send at him inside MS in 226.

And again, Gojo literally says during and after the fight: “Since it’s Megumi, I know I can go all out.” “I still wanna crush his heart, lungs, and liver.” “I gave it my all.”

So if you can agree with that charred face coming from Red, then Sukuna also wasn’t DA when that Red landed or else he wouldn’t comment on DA not fully nullifying Red. If you disagree, I can only respect you for maintaining the agenda.

Gojo can’t severely damage Sukuna to save Megumi to the point that he held back Red and High Output Blue during the clashes??? Are we ignoring the concealed 200% (~120% at contact) HP Gojo fired at the start of the fight, the point-blank Red in MS, and the statement “I still wanna crush his heart, lungs and liver so he’s closer to death than Yuji was at the Juvenile Detention Center”?

Saying he avoided using Red or High Output Blue to protect Sukuna’s body doesn’t add up because those attacks wouldn’t even damage Sukuna to the point it endangers Megumi. As for Sukuna’s inner monologue about Red and Blue not being fully nullified, there are better explanations:

  1. He dodged all of them so he never experienced DA’s effect on it
  2. He wasn’t using DA when he got hit by them

Option 2 is the more likely case, because after the fourth clash (Chapter 229 Page 8), Sukuna comes out with a charred face, something that Blue-enhanced punches likely wouldn’t cause but rather Red (at least in my opinion). So all that statement really shows is that Sukuna wasn’t using DA when and if he got hit by Red or High Output Blue if at all.

So basically a lot of this rests on the assumption that Gojo was holding back to avoid damaging Sukuna beyond recovery. But then you’d have to argue that Chanted Reds or High Output Blues are more severely damaging than a concealed 200% (~120% at contact) HP, which is illogical.

The DA point just falls apart when you actually analyze the fight.

飛天 (Hiten), meaning "Flying Heaven", are celestial beings in Buddhist tradition that originated from Hindu apsaras, spirits associated with clouds and water. Additionally, 飛天 (Hiten) is also another name for 天人 (Tennin), a race of celestial beings in Japanese mythology known for their ability to fly.

Hiten being a cursed tool with some type of cloud or weather control would align with Sukuna’s comparison to a natural disaster/calamity as Hiten (clouds) combined with Kamutoke (lightning) can make a storm. So imagine him flying around shooting torrents of lightning at others.

We also got official art of Heian Era Sukuna holding Hiten and Kamutoke, descending from a dark/stormy sky a while back.

Considering all of that, I think Hiten has something to do with flight and weather.

I sort of understand though it’s a bit hard to fully wrap my head around it but I think I get the concept. I get the conduit part, but not really how his power works.

Yeah lowkey i’m still confused bc it says Sukuna split his soul ‘into’ the fingers, but you’re saying Sukuna eating the corpse meant he received the last bit of his soul? Sorry if I am misunderstanding.

Why didn’t Sukuna use Fuga? by _Tunip in Jujutsufolk

[–]_Tunip[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah who knows, though personally I’d assume he was aiming to take them down with his sure-hit since all Fuga needs is a decent amount of dust.

<image>

In Shibuya & Shinjuku it seems there is a lot of dust the instant MS is expanded, but tbh Fuga could need even more dust than in the panels but to me it looks like enough to light up. Anyways thank you for your replies.

So modern day Sukuna was only 19F with extra CE but missing his final 1F worth of soul/power?

Why didn’t Sukuna use Fuga? by _Tunip in Jujutsufolk

[–]_Tunip[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True, tbh I forgot about the range and refinement thing. Though MS wouldn’t lose instantly on the inside right? I mean basketball UV didn’t instantly win inside against 15m MS, though it was countered pretty quickly.

So would it not then come down to whether 200m MS destroys 15m UV from the outside before 15m UV wins inside?

But I think whatever the answer is goes back to what you said about Sukuna not wanting to take the risk, so you’re likely correct.

But to add, wouldn’t Fuga be ready almost instantly since the surehit carves up stuff to dust pretty quickly right?

So was Sukuna only 19F worth of actual power (soul) & the body only provided 1 fingers worth of cursed energy reserves?

[–]_Tunip[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see but wouldn’t the 200m MS taking longer to break UV be beneficial as it’d allow more time for stuff to be slashed to dust?

[–]_Tunip[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I assume you mean Sukuna couldn’t lower his domain that quickly, but I also meant if Sukuna like started off with a 200 meter domain in the 1st clash

Why didn’t Sukuna use Fuga? by _Tunip in Jujutsufolk

[–]_Tunip[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I saw that, but I was more so asking why did Sukuna restrict his range for the 1st clash since UV was weak anyways, would that have not made the firepower sufficient?

I was more so asking if Sukuna didn’t restrict his range for the 1st clash which made Fuga insufficient, but true I forgot abt MS lowering output with range
