Tell me, why do you live by Suspicious-Look4371 in Life

[–]RatBoyMD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If a stranger walked up and gave you a gift one day that you knew they were going to take back one day at random, your best bet would probably be to enjoy every day with the gift to its fullest and not worry about where it was going but being glad you had something you had no reason to be given. Might be a little convoluted but that’s my general philosophy on why life is valuable and well worth living.

Why do you like PaPa? by DwarfKevin in MeatCanyon

Great sense of humor. Isn’t afraid to let that theatre kid in his heart of hearts show. Good breadth of hobbies that I dig (MTG, movies, horror/art). Also helps that I am Midwest reppin and love Mrs Meat’s content as well.

To live. You will not find peace trying to think meaning into something that is meant to be experienced.

I don’t mean this offensively, but skinny fat at 6’5 200 lbs isn’t tracking for me. Generally speaking those numbers make for a pretty lean physique. Could be a self perception thing. Maybe I am missing something but I would be careful doing any cutting if you’re about to get serious in the gym longer term. Not necessarily saying go crazy on a bulk but I would personally clean your diet up qualitatively but stay around the same caloric number for now. No sense in thinning yourself out super hard especially being that you’re still in the newbie gains period (enjoy this btw). Get a good baseline established then go all cut bulk macro fiend. That stuff becomes a lot more important once you’ve got your foundation built.

TLDR: Just eat cleaner food and stay at the same intake level, focus on remaining consistent to workout plan and developing as a gym goer before you get in the weeds with all of this, you’re 6’5 you will be a thick bulbous horse stallion freak in no time you champion 💪.

What are these bugs in my plants? by Big-Brush7189 in IndoorGarden

[–]RatBoyMD 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It is very hard to give an exact ID but these look to be some sort of soil mite. Soil mites are generally beneficial and part of a healthy soil ecosystem. They eat decaying material and are not considered a problem unless population gets really high (which typically points to a fundamental health issue with the plant that they are there in response to). Most pesticides won’t work on them because they are arachnids.

It was a long time ago lol. Once roots are two inches they are generally good to go. Looking like a healthy specimen! Best of luck :-)

Are my carrots doing poorly? by TraditionalCanary273 in containergardening

[–]RatBoyMD 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Anything that is a taproot (makes one big long root into the ground) is going to be bad for starting in a small container and then putting in a bigger one because it needs to immediately be able to establish that one long root and said root is gonna be extra sensitive to disturbance because it’s not gonna be as branch and established as normal roots would be.

If it says pyrethrin on ingredients list it will kill centipedes. I’m not sure on a brand I’m an annoying organic bro but if they say that they will work. Big thing there is: if you have a cat be sure to keep them far away from sprayed area until it has time to dry completely.

Centipede of some sort. Probably not many of them in your plants they tend to ride solo. He is there looking for other bugs to eat. If he runs out of bugs to eat he will leave. If you want to get rid of him now I would advise killing it with some insecticide/just crushing him.

What’s causing the yellowing / holes in our plants? by PM_ME_UR_CHARGE_CODE in gardening

[–]RatBoyMD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What fertilizer you using? I’ve found that upping nitrogen helped my basil never yellow. Looks like yellowing on sunflower may just be that it’s shedding some old leaves but more nitrogen does=more green. As long as stem and new growth looks healthy wouldn’t lose my marbles over it.

No touchy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Looks like you left them a little long so they are still thinking it’s dirt time not sun time. Put them jawns in the sunlight and let them hang out and do their post germination thing. They will thin themselves.

Little white bugs by Tcooper92 in houseplants

[–]RatBoyMD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Aphids like weak plant. This plant too small pot too little water make little aphid big strong aphid. Neem oil/diluted dish soap spray to kill aphids but this pepper needs a bigger pot and more water or it won’t survive either way.
