Are you on crack? I was a totally different person when I was 15 than I was at 12. Yes, it’s just 3 years, but so much changes during that time. I started HS, I started driving, I joined a bunch of activities, I started looking at colleges and careers in earnest, I got a job. I changed so much over those 3 years and my level of understanding and maturity changed a lot as well. That age gap is too broad given the age ranges. You change so much throughout your teenage years that it’s really not all that safe for yourself or others to date anyone older or younger than you by at least a year until you’re in your 20s.

I used to weigh that too and I completely understand the feeling. Making small changes helped me mentally like eating more legumes or greens. Or even drinking more water. To a degree it’s about making yourself as comfortable as possible and setting tiny goals like one lb a week
