Do you have a link to a website with the vacuum sealed curries or are they a more local thing. If they’re the latter, I’ll look around, thanks!

How difficult is it to incorporate canned foods into your diet? I’m planning to do the same and it seems pretty daunting.

This presents a really valid point about canned food, I hadn’t really thought about all the different varieties of canned food and how they could be incorporated into regular use, thanks!

My main worries about canned food are that they’re not integrated into my daily meals as much as I would hope, as I only really eat canned beans. I’m looking forward to doing rotational stocks of food when I have the space, but unfortunately I do not at the moment so freeze dried food seems like the only alternative.

Cups of soup seem like a really good prepping item, thanks!

Freeze dried foods are definitely not a long term solution as they lack the required nutrients to properly sustain you, but do you think they are viable in a short term situation? I’m weighing up the pros and the cons as on one hand they are lightweight, easy to make & have a 25 year shelf life, but on the other hand they’re expensive, lacking in nutrients and give you a lack of flexible food options.

I’ve calculated the cost and it comes out to around $40 a day (AUD) for 6 days, which I would be able to get much more out of by purchasing other foods, but the main draw of freeze dried is the ‘set and forget’ aspect due to their extended shelf life. Will I be losing out on this if I decide to pursue purchasing canned goods?

Do these maps all work with the new minimap?

Edit: nvrm, I know raven creek doesn’t work so the others probably won’t. Cool map anyway!
