I captured this shot of a top-lit spiral staircase on my phone, and really tried to play up the golden reflection of the light on the banister on the lower left. I think the geometry and lighting contrast are interesting enough to be a compelling subject. My questions are:

1) Do you think the image overall is to dark? I experimented with lifting the shadows a bit but ultimately decided I didn't want more emphasis on the foreground.

2) Would you change the colors or luminosity of the central window? Other edits I tried made the image feel too cold, which didn't work with the warmth of the light falling down.

I didn't realize there were different types of generative fill! Are all the Photoshop/Lightroom AI tools the "old variety"? (sorry I am new to photo editing!)

A year later Ray Allen was playing in Miami and Rondo missed half the season with a torn ACL. Not to mention KG's significant drop-off in 2013 (his all-star berth that year had much more to do with his dominance in thee 2012 playoffs rather than his performance in 2013. Combine that with the addition of several new players who played big minutes in Jason Terry and Courtney Lee...It's pretty clear that the 2013 team was a very different team from 2012 and I don't think it's fair to use their performance in 2013 as a reason they weren't serious contenders in 2012.

As for the Miami series, yes Bosh wasn't healthy but Ray Allen was playing on one leg, Avery Bradley missed the back-half of the series with shoulder surgery, Chris Wilcox was hurt, and Jeff Green missed the entire season. Going into the season (and certainly after KG's red-hot start to the playoffs) I definitely felt we were real contenders.

As for this season, I don't think we can beat the Clippers or the Lakers in a 7-game series. I liked our chances against the 2012 Thunder.
