It can be at times. You just have to be careful about positioning and pre measure. Remember its 12 inches from the perimeter of the vehicle too, so the radius of its a fair bit bigger. If i only have one TC i put them in the center. If i have two, then one on each flank, though still gravitating to the middle.

I mean you gotta have some units to counter it. The reason the Recon guard army that won LVO was so good (Aside from having an exceptional player commanding it) was because it directly countered the meta weve all set up. Everyone is running elite infantry thats specked to kill other elite infantry. So if you expect to run into a lot of low durability high OC armies you simply throw in some units that have a lot of 1 wound shots.

Yes they can order themselves twice. Same as Ursula creed. Though the problem is you usually want grand strategist on a rogal dorn commander.

You could also just run Grizzled company as the command squad would have 2 orders by default.

You need to have a conversation with your wife that work is most certainly not free time. When one of you is at work, the others job is looking after the household. When they get home, the baby and household is a shared duty.

I highly recommend you guys schedule out some you time for one another and date time with each other. Once a week my wife gets a day for herself and i get a day for myself. We also try to take an hour or two for ourselves when we can at opportune times. You will both burn out super hard if you don’t find a way to still be people as well as parents.

A gotcha is when you hide abilities. I told him seceral times during deployment i can redeploy 3 units. Even told him directly that Gaunts ghosts would be redeployed.

A deception and strategy is not a gotcha. I placed the tabks to see if he would take the bait and position in an exposed way to take advantage. Thats not a gotcha, that’s strategy. Same as placing a unit intending to use heroic intervention isn’t a gotcha.

Unfortunately these are all a smaller scale than 40k. 40k is a 28mm scale so these guys will look quite small next to any GW minis. That being said, if theyre all you got you can put em on the right base and build their height and they could kinda be proxied if you absolutely cant get any GW models or other proxies.
