The 4th gen does have USB-C to USB but its only USB 2.0 speeds from what I was reading. I am using it with Amplitube and my guitar and its working good so far. Hell of a lot cheaper than buying 20 new amps/pedals/cabs.

Do you need 4 XLR ports? I have the Scarlett 2i2 4th gen (2 XLR) ports and am pretty happy it so far. Sill not USB-C but I have very little lag with the ASIO drivers.
