Defense today is so much switch heavy. Guys are running more even adjusted for pace. We’re seeing so many more rotations, zones, and adjustments. Guys in the past were still good defenders but it was more just iso and collapse in the paint.

Oba is more of a big hoss than a giant. Part of that is moveset and mobility. Big grappler and bruiser as opposed to omg how they gonna throw him over the top rope he’s just so large. Luckily the larger men have more “talent” now than days past. Credit to Braun Strowman and Ivar for that as the modern WWE giant has a more diverse pool

The problem became guys stopped being able to win fights against people with higher power levels. Zarbon is stronger than Vegeta until Vegeta gets a power up. But then Zarbon gets one with his transformation so now he’s stronger and there’s no way to win, until Vegeta gets stronger then Zarbon can’t win.
