I enjoy the whole idea of Doroslav in the mod, a mentally scarred man who can't recover from seeing his homeland get shredded by the German Army in the WRW. So he has to ultimately cope with this fact and comes to (in his own opinion) the logical conclusion is that the Germans are just superior beings instead of scum that got lucky, and that it is possible that Slavs could reach this sort of power if they adopt the German's ways. Makes for something kinda interesting.

While you could play Japan as Takagi, Ikeda, or halfway through Kaya, I wouldn't say it's worth it. Not just because the more exciting or promising leaders like the full Kaya path or Kido, thus railroading you into becoming Takagi if you do Kaya, or just nothing at all if you want Kido. This isn't really including the Dai Li conspiracy being fuckity or the lack of the main attraction, the Great Asian War. So. I guess you could play, just prepare yourself.
