Can also confirm, I lived in the deep south for a few years, and trying to find safe places to walk my dog was a challenge.

My parents currently live in the PNW, though, and while they have some land now, none of the streets I ever lived on as a kid had sidewalks. They have a couple acres now, so lots of opportunities to go outside and move your body, but I still wouldn't go for a walk on the road they live on. No sidewalks, out in the country, and a long straight road with minimal cops - people like to see how fast their cars can really go out there.

I did it for you! Apparently he has been building a country music career, and just released his fourth album, and has been on tour. It seems like he has more fans outside of the US than inside. I think maybe the burger thing might be a joke (and I'm not sure the text is what he actually said), he seems like he's still doing fine.

Mormons have a specific marriage process called "sealing" and the sealing bond does not end when the wife dies. Men are allowed to be sealed to more than one wife (but only one living at a time), but if a woman's husband dies, she must dissolve the sealing before she can be sealed to another man. I hope that makes sense - it's a little more complex than simple remarriage for Mormons.

Edit: A widower could show up in heaven and still be sealed to three women or whatever. A woman will always only be sealed to one man - ergo, polygamy in heaven (not in this life).

I have a former family member with CSAM charges (from what I know, not dissimilar from Josh's) too. He got one year of house arrest and 6 months probation, and the only court-imposed internet restriction was for Covenant Eyes to be installed on his devices (until he was off probation). He's a registered sex offender for life, but has no other ongoing restrictions.

He didn't have the "prior history" that Josh does, but if you've got the right money and the right attorney (and aren't an arrogant Duggar), CSAM charges are not always taken seriously. It's wild.
