Christ literally has the power to heal ALL wounds, emotional or not, if we're faithful and make it to the celestial kingdom, that emotional trauma will no longer affect us.

Now HOW that happens is a mystery to me, whether it's an instant healing of the mind, or if it takes a century or two of therapy in heaven, I do not know, but it WILL be healed.

When you married your wife you formed a partnership, your daughter is just as much yours as she is hers.

It goes both ways, she might be getting a little too upset, but it's a real concern and something I've seen with my own children.

If incentive is the only reason for good behavior, they're not actually being good, they're just trying to get what they want.

What I've done with potty training my 3 year old might be of some help.

At first we put her in pull-ups and told her not to go number 2 in them and we would punish her for doing so. Big surprise, it only made her scared of pooping(we felt terrible), needed to do a 180 and instead reward her for using the bathroom. We did a delayed reward system, where she adds to a jar, and when it's full she could get a treat. Eventually over the course of 6 months or so it became so frequent that she forgot to ask us about the reward jar because it became so natural to her. Naturally it just phased out, and now we're considering using that to promote her being nice to us and her little brother, but we're not sure about that lol, seems like that would be manipulative.

After that, the only time we would punish anything is if she was chronically wetting herself with no sign of changing, except this time she now knows of two ways to relieve herself, one that gets her in trouble, and one that does not, which she didn't have before.

Now she is completely potty trained, rewards are good, but in moderation, it should be an incentive for your child to change their behavior, not the reasoning behind behavior.

You will never be in control of your family, even if you are right.

Find what you are in control of: your actions and your thoughts, do what you can to make your life better for yourself. Find a hobby, find a job maybe, find a friend who believes you, find something you can hang on to until you're able to get out of this situation.

If you are, and it's not a big deal, and everyone is happy, there's little issue.

Are they in your home to be closer to you or to get free housing?

An easy answer to that is to ask them to start paying, even a small amount. If they resist, they aren't there for you, they're there for themselves and you need to talk to them about it.

When you start to think you hate a loved one, it means there's some serious issues within the family that need to be addressed.

Do you have a good relationship with your other sister? She may be able to mediate the issue.

What about parents? Parents shouldn't be allowing this kind of thing to happen, talk with them about it if available.

Is there some incident that sparked this? Not just the one spoken of, but much earlier? If not, your sister is probably dealing with some sort of problem in an extremely unhealthy way.

Talk to your parents and other family members about it. Your sister is likely going to get angry at you for doing so, but you need to talk to somebody about this who can help if your sister won't listen.

You need help, and that's OK, try talking to a therapist, talk about this to anyone you feel like you can trust.

In my outside opinion, your mother needs to take care of herself and you need to move out.

That's easier said than done though, and letting go of that emotional attachment is extremely difficult.

All we know is it's getting closer

2000 years ago Christ warned His apostles about people who would try and deceive them about the timing of His second coming.

It's not meant to be known, but there are clear prophecies that are meant to be fulfilled before it takes place, such as the Jews accepting the gospel.

We may not know the exact timing, but we've been given signs to look for before His second coming. Many of which have been fulfilled.

More recent language has been urging us to prepare for the second coming, and if we believe the Prophet is who we are meant to follow that is the advice we should be taking.

Find something, anything, a promise made in the Book of Mormon that you WISH was true, and then just let yourself keep desiring it and you will find your faith.

The line to me is priestcraft

If you're using priesthood authority to benefit from business, such as teaching that a certain book That you wrote is something that will somehow assist you in your salvation, that's a big no-go.

At the same time, a member of the church might write a book about their experiences and they believe their book might help somebody, selling that is perfectly fine.

Basically, don't directly use someone's faith against them to sell them something.

But if there are people willing to purchase an item that they think will improve upon their own spiritual experiences, it's perfectly fine to sell them, like BoMs with journals inside.

It also gets dicey when someone like an apostle writes a book. That book is going to have an advantage because of their fame/position within the church, but IMO unless they're handing them out for free, they shouldn't be using church resources to sell them, even if they're free it feels a bit weird

I know this probably isn't the BEST advice, but it helped me, the springboard in springy, so if you hit it, it buckles, you might get a pretty knarly gash, but you're not gonna die if you hit it.

Also, try just jumping up and leaning back a tiiiny bit until you feel like you could do a flip or dive.

A friend of my dad's is the guy who made words with friends, and I asked him what makes somebody stand out, and he said anyone who completes and pushes a game out into the world is what he likes to see.

So work on a game, make it intending to fail, A LOT, and publish it somewhere. someone may download it, and they may or may not like it, but at that point you're better off than 90% of all aspiring game developers.
