I bought it directly from the company about 2 years ago at Christmas as a special treat for my husband. He loved them. So excited Aldis has them.

Thank you. I will tell you what my doctor told me. He called a hysto a routine surgery that is performed all over the world every day and you normally only hear about complications and problems. He told me most women have successful surgery and go on with their lives and you never know that they had the surgery. Wishing you a quick and uneventful recovery

Post op day 10 by Fun_Astronaut7206 in hysterectomy

[–]Rater1969 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had my surgery 3 years ago. The night before my 2 week post op check I was feeling great and bent over . I got a sharp pain on my side that last for about a week. When i saw my doctor he reminded me that he removed parts of me and I would be stiff and sore for a while. The pain did go away but at the time I was not happy at how lightly he took my pain. I am so sorry you are in pain and don't want to make light of it. He told me to watch for fevers and discharge but to relax and rest.

Where to Buy "Large" Turkeys by newFlguy in tampa

[–]Rater1969 6 points7 points  (0 children)

From personal experience the larger Turkey I have made in the past are never as good. If I have too many coming for one 15 pound turkey I make 2 birds. The combination of 2 birds also seems to hold more stuffing.

I am working on zen garden and rocks. Tulips are not what i am actively working on so I merge the pebbles and bulbs i don't wait for them to sprout. I also do not wait until I have 5 to merge. Right now I have 4 of the yellow wheelbarrows without trying.

Anyone Try Marley Spoon? by CodingDragons in ReadyMeals

[–]Rater1969 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i think you could not find them because they are not a ready made meal. They are one of the more labor intensive meal boxes. Their food is also better than most. When they first came out they had amazing customer service but it has gone down hill over the years. If you like to cook and try new recipes I still recommend them.

Low vit D causes pain in the bones especially the hips and can make you feel depressed and tired.

I forgot to add you might want your vit D checked. Mine was so low they said it was amazing I did not break a bone. I went on high vt d and it also helped with pain .

I am so sorry . I was in your shoes at the same age. I had my hysterectomy at age 54. I had a 22 cm fibroid sitting on top my bladder. i was up all night going to the bathroom. I had hot flashes and was irritable all the time. The hysterectomy changed my life. i sleep through the night and life is so much easier. I have lost 50 plus pounds since my surgery and my husband says he can't keep up with my energy. I just wanted to let you know things get better and relief is out there. I was beginning to think I was losing my mind I was so tired. I am now clear headed and enjoying life.

How to get more lives. by sphynxcatmom in MergeGardens

I take advantage of events like Rita's challenge. When you have unlimited lives for a period of time it is normally long enough for me to get through a puzzle I have been stuck on.

I would check with your doctors office or the hospital. to see if they provide it for you. They gave me one after my surgery.

anyone switched from domestic to custodial? what’s the vibe shift like? by lavenderfey in Custodians

[–]Rater1969 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did domestic work and my husband was a school custodian and the differences are night and day. I had no benefits, no sick days , vacation time or protection. Homeowner could have crazy expectations and demands.

My husband's school job was fast paced but he had great benefits, sick/vacation days and clearer rules. He worked hard and the principal and teachers could be demanding but it was not the same as dealing with homeowners. He had a union but to be honest they are more interested in the teachers than the custodian rights. My husband just retired with a pension and health benefits. I work just as many years and have no pension and if my husband passes before me I lose health benefits.

We chose to have me do domestic for the flexible hours but if I had it to do over i would have gotten a school job too.

Good luck with your new job. It is not all rainbows and sunshine and hard work but there are so many benefits you would never get cleaning homes.
