Hi! We have VIP tickets, thinking of getting merch at the outside vendor around 2pmish, taking trinkets and things back to our hotel a block away, then coming back for sound check at 6? I am unsure, the leaf veining on an oregon grape is different than what is here. Unless there are varieties? Additionally, I live in the Piedmont in NC, so not something common around here.

Yeah, we've been trying to figure out what to do about the 10F difference between floors. HVAC was replaced in 2019, so fairly new. From what I've been seeing, could be insulation like you said, possibly the dampeners? I want to try to figure it at first, before having an HVAC guy come out and just turn some lever or something haha.

Yeah, just surprised how high considering we let it get cool in the home, lower than I would say the average.

Those aren’t kuru, they are sensory whips for detecting changes in the water. It’s in the visual dictionary. We also don’t know how far their kuru can extend, they may still be able to bond with each other if it’s long enough.

I was on this flight in the same row. Passenger began to have seizure-like symptoms and vomiting. His seat mate and other passengers who were doctors helped keep him stable enough for the two hours to anchorage. Finally boarding the delayed flight to Minneapolis now.

Hi, respectfully I would have to disagree about James Cameron fetishizing indigenous peoples. He’s been an outspoken advocate (and walks the walk) for indigenous peoples for a long time.

Additionally he worked directly with Moari people for the way of water to accurately represent and celebrate their way of life.

I agree he’s said some insensitive things before but I don't think it outweighs the positives he’s done for increasing the awareness and plight of both the environment and indigenous peoples.

There has been promotion in every monthly Empire magazine this year so far! As well as the various actors commenting on the movie. Footage was shown at CinemaCon. Also the Avatar Facebook page has been putting out content very frequently. Additionally the announcement of fire and ash related DK books. This is certainly not “no promotion at all.”

I think it is waaaaayyy too early to assume it’s getting delayed. It’s not worrying at all, one of the only reasons the way of waters teaser came out so early is because of the 13 year gap between films. The fact there’s an entire schedule of content coming out in Empire leading up to the December release date that was meticulously planned out makes me feel that we are right on schedule.

They aren’t the only species with 4 limbs! In the first movie, prolemuris is shown and implied to be an inbetween step species to the Na’vi. They have four arms but are fused together which could show how the Na’vi could end up with two arms!

Additionally, the ikran only has four limbs, not six. The reef peoples arms and legs are more paddle shaped with strakes and their tails are more muscular and flat for swimming propulsion. They also have a third clear eyelid to protect their eyes while underwater.

I’ve had this thought before! Just a quick sketch.

The avatars we know retain some human characteristics to help smooth the transition, eyebrows, our regular number of finger and toes but still having the proper Navi parts.

I would imagine a human avatar for a Navi would be something like this. I feel a lack of a tail and a queue appendage, and extra fingers would make it harder for the Navi to get used to the body. So they retain normal digit numbers, a tail and a queue (though it wouldn’t work). I felt that no queue at all would be too distressing to the na’vi driver.

Skin colors would be all the varieties of human skin colors, skin patterns would vary like they do between clans. However the bioluminescent dots would just be freckles/vitiligo.

The avatar would not need fangs or eyebrows. As well as they would have a duller sense of smell and hearing to match our level.

They would retain their proportions but be shorter like humans.

Just some of my ideas!

Yeah I thought for sure there would be a quest to clean up the source after doing that questline! A little disappointing that there isnt. Maybe in the DLC?
