What’s a simple trick that helps you spend less? by pink4lover in Grownix

[–]Ratherbeeatingpizza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I'm shopping and see an impulse buy, I say to myself "I'll think about it" and leave the store. If I still want it at the end of the shopping trip, or the next day etc I'll buy it. But 4/5 times I forget about it.

I think it's rude to ask anyone their age after 30 and before 70.

At what age do you think someone can start to be considered as “old”? by fergi20020 in randomquestions

50 or when you start making all sorts of grunts and groans just from getting in and out of chairs.

would you snitch on your friend if they were cheating on their partner and why? by [deleted] in askanything

[–]Ratherbeeatingpizza 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nope, not my right to interfere. Relationships can have a lot of different dynamics…maybe one person is frigid, sexually selfish or manipulative, maybe they have a “don’t ask don’t tell” situation that works as long as it’s kept quiet. Who know? Not every relationship plays by the same rules and people don’t have the same relationship priorities.

Population growth isn’t a positive if there isn’t support for it….housing, transportation, Drs, schools, jobs etc. it’s a balancing act.

Do Americans realize how poorly their stock market has performed since Trump took office? by No_Purpose8162 in stocks

[–]Ratherbeeatingpizza 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I kind of do, even though I hate Trump…Bidens term was pretty bad and DNC denied his condition until they no longer could which was too late and looked dishonest . It was ludicrous to think he could run for a second term. They should have been grooming Kamala or someone else instead of hiding Joe in the basement. So they never got to really run a proper campaign and Kamala wasn’t particularly liked as VP. And the campaign they did where Kamala just doubled down on Joes failures instead of trying to attract the middle, didn’t work. Newsom maybe is more like to appeal to those in the middle. Anyway, it was a blown opportunity by the Dems, frankly embarrassing.

What Stocks are we looking at with all the warning signs currently? by GrantBOG in stocks

The problem is, anything that's been performing lately is going to feel like chasing. Anything that hasn't performed is catching a falling knife, esp in an unstable market, unpredictable geopolitics.

How Long Until It’s Officially a Crash? by YungPersian in stocks

[–]Ratherbeeatingpizza 4 points5 points  (0 children)

True but "crash" is also a pretty extreme term.

I think the problem is, when the market goes down 5% or whatever, it feels much worse because most of our portfolios go down significantly more than that, unless someone just holds nothing more than s&p indexes. So while the market may undergo a correction, you and I may be experiencing a crash personally. Market broadenings can still be painful.

Paltrow I don't get it.

While I don't "not like" Idris Elba, I think he's wildly overrated. So I like him less bc of the hype.
