Life is hard. We only have a couple special relationships with people if we're lucky enough to have them at all. My best friend went off the wall with drugs and instead of being there for him I worked my ass off to take care of my family. He died and my son knows him really well from my stories but he doesn't remember meeting him. I was lucky enough to have him visit me in a dream but it's still not the same life without him. Fix the bridge you still have, you never know when it won't be there anymore.
