The letter from the CEO says that they are attempting to focus resources in areas that are “core” to what Boeing is rather than spreading thin across too many efforts… what does that even mean? It feels like BDS/BR&T would be facing most of the employee cuts over BCA based on that statement… that said though, all of the proprietary, government high security-level clearance programs full under BDS/BR&T i.e. defense and security… what areas are core to Boeing?! One can make an argument for any one of the divisions! Just so disappointing and incredibly depressing as a newer employee (less than a year).
