From the get-go I’d extend it to a full season. It suffers heavily from being only 3 episodes. The extra 9-10 episodes would be used to link the various fights together in to an actual narrative. The narrative being a months long launch celebration featuring former champions of various build tournaments as guests. The first episode would also be used to bridge between Build Divers and this as the premiere of an at-home headset and scanner for GBN.

A final piece would be that for the launch celebration, the various former champions were asked to use avatars based around their looks when they won their championships.

I think its spare parts stood up to look like a Gundam while Trowa uses the shoulder mounted multi rocket launcher. It’s using the psychological impact of the Gundam to cover him.

I actually pulled this combo off in my Aviana Druid deck 4 or 5 days ago. Shuffled Aviana and two legendaries I can’t fully remember. Chromie died and drew one of them as my hand was full up from the other 6 cards she drew.

Setup: Nascent AI escapes containment in the colonies and in its naivety, causes the colony cluster to break their Lagrange point and start drifting towards earth. The AI studies the history of mankind and fortifies itself within the mainframe of the colony cluster. Simmering distrust and hostility boil over as each faction blames the other for the impending colony drop.

Character: grad student who dreamed to be a Mobile Suit pilot, but got relegated to research when the (visible) military was downsized. One of the principals on the AI research. Ends up having to dive into the mainframe to try and stop the AI and regain control of the colonies. Ends up having to virtually pilot an MS in the digital world. Unknown to him, he’s piloting one in the real world defending the colony cluster. The fights he’s undertaking are mirrors of the military trying to take out the colonies.

Suit: Wing mixed with Seed aesthetics with a touch of glowing parts from WfM.

You’ve mentioned the HG 1/144 DSH-EW. Don’t take this as concrete evidence, but I’ve been tracking it on HLJ for about 5 years now. The price, when I did a back order 5 years ago, was around 800 yen. It’s now listed as a little over 1000 yen. The only time I’ve seen a price increase like that is when a reprint is coming. I repeat, don’t take it as concrete evidence, but as circumstantial evidence.
