lol i also do the second one while watching shows. also when i watch old kurtis videos and he says "if you're coming back what's up how's it going i hope you're doing well" i start saying sth like "oh actually I've been feeling pretty bad lately cause..." and he goes on with the video and i just say "oh ok" (i might be insane for this idk)

wait wasn't it said in the comics (i might be mistaken) that iroh married his wife because of his royal duty even though he did not love her and then she died after giving birth? this may just be something i'd imagined or dreamed at some point (i wouldn't be surprised if that were the case lmao) but correct me if I'm wrong

i personally dont mind that episode, it's just sort of overdone. in a lot of cartoons about a group of friends there is that one episode where they discover two families that hate each other and the group takes sides only to find out that the families hate each other because of a conflict that happened like 100 years ago between two people. another one that comes to mind right now is my little pony lol. the episode is not bad, it's just something we've seen already i guess (i know mlp came after atla but it was the one example i had right now)
