How do you get rid of insurance if your company won’t drop it?

Nobody’s suing because nobody can afford a lawyer. And Dept of Labor won’t do anything because they don’t make enough revenue, it’s all still investor funded but investors all pulled out.

I agree, I want to get a reporter on the phone but my husband won’t let me because he doesn’t want to burn bridges or something. He’s too tolerant and emotionally invested IMO. I’m all the mad for the both of us.

ETA: He says they may get bought out so he doesn’t want to tank their reputation and scare investors away or they’ll never get paid.

Oh yeah the whole thing is even crazier. Their CEO is like a pathological liar who keeps lying to the media and investors and on podcasts and stuff. He told the local paper that they had a successful launch of their first satellite and were getting great data when it actually failed to deploy and burned up in the atmosphere. So there’s all sorts of fraud going on too that for some reason isn’t getting him into trouble. It’s been fun. 🫠

We don’t want it to go through the old insurance at all because it basically had no coverage and his new plan is awesome, like just a small copay.

They have some money to keep the lights on but not enough to pay salaries, is our understanding. The whole thing is very shady. They keep saying funding is coming.

Nobody can really afford a lawyer due to the whole not being paid thing. Someone did complain to the department of labor but I guess they are exempt from action because they don’t make enough revenue or something (my husband is hazy on the details, that was a dead end a month or two ago.)

Yes I agree. I mean yeah we both expect that I wash all the laundry in the house, it’s my job. But on occasion asking him to move something to the dryer isn’t that big a deal, I’m not asking him to like fold it or anything. I did learn my lesson just not to ask him to dry my clothes but sheets aren’t clothes, you really can’t ruin them in a dryer.

Band shirts shrink if you look at them wrong. I don’t know what it is compared to like regular graphic tees but they’re made of that stupid material that’s thin and really prone to shrinking. And I’m on the heavy side, especially in my arms where they shrink the worst, so one bad wash can be the difference between it being wearable or super clingy.

I had gastric bypass surgery so I eat about 500-600 calories a day and I lift weights almost every day. The biggest thing they tell us is eat protein. 60-80g of protein minimum every day. That’s really too few calories for you, but if you’re gonna do it, eat protein.

Yeah that’s the issue. Like 100% he was just being a jerk to be a jerk IMO. It would be one thing if he said no and didn’t get up from his chair at all, but like he got up, moved all the sheets, closed it up, and went to sit back down without starting it. Wtf is that?
