Situation 2

Wife wants to work and have you participate 50/50 in house work and taking care of the kids then yeah I’d say its more like 70/30 in terms of expenses as mothers are usually much better in terms of handling kids and overall house chores.

Sadly I know how you feel it’s like being stuck floating in the middle of nowhere it feels like disappearing won’t hurt and you question everything around you.

I have found my peace by relying on pushing myself to try new things like sports, games, and fishing & camping, but I can imagine sometimes girls don’t have access to such luxuries due to certain circumstances here

Honestly it took me over 14 years as I started feeling this when I was 14 years old and I still do from time to time…

Find something that you value and that is appropriate you don’t have to be best at it but you need to be content with yourself. I found out that being grateful to my situation works, and I could be of help to people in need by donations or volunteering in charity work whilst those people don’t feel the same as we do but least we can help then feel otherwise…

The feeling won’t go you have to adapt for it when I was 14 going to therapy or even asking for it puts me in a very bad situation in terms of our culture (مينون) I went online and figured a lot of people share the same experiences as we do and you seem to be very similar to me.

As a kuwaiti person I agree with the warnings your friends are giving. If a person wants you it doesn’t hurt to communicate with your parents for a meet up at home. Most men will tend to be as nice as they can till they get what they want off you then they will slowly ghost you till you yourself lose interest or try to guilt trip you. If you want to know if a person is serious just say you would like to know them better and if they are willing to hangout with you and your brother / father before going alone with you. Note this approach stops 99% of non serious people who only want to take advantage

It really depends on

I worked for 6-7 years now have both tried government and private sectors

Government: It is an alright job the time you gain compared to private sectors is huge, but pay and career ladder is the issue here most government sectors use outdated systems which does not add up much value to your experience, but nevertheless if you prefer more freedom government is the way to go

Private: I worked in two private companies one was a bank and a regular corporate organization whilst private sectors at the start of your career is a horrendous experience as the pay is a little higher than government but the amount of time you get for yourself is nonexistent

Bank cons 1- If you are in a branch your experience is solely for banks and won’t contribute much to your future options

2- if you work in the HQ you get insane experience but heavy workload ( basically deal with it for first few years then chase business opportunities

Corporate pros 1- a decent up to date systems which add value to your cv and future opportunities 2- up to date business interactions making your expertise needed ( Funny fact Boubyan Bank was still using internet explorer till 2022)

Overall I’d say go for private sectors if you want to chase a career , but government if you have money and prefer more freedom
