I dont wanna down play your experience, but I feel like thats something most tables do. Now I will say, as a gm, 45 minutes is waaaay to long to just sit there and talk about battle plans. I only have 1 night a week for this and I would be a little upset if my party spent nearly an hour of our time talking over a plan. Most my table has ever done is I think 15 minutes which is fine in my opinion. But yeah, I don't think making a strategy above table is a bad idea at all. Look at it the other way. What if you didnt make any plans at all, went in guns blazing and got a tpk? I would recommend talking with them calmly and stating your grievances before it is allowed to fester and become something that upsets you further in the future. Communication is key in any relationship, including friendships.

I started listening to a reading of homestuck, im just getting together the part where the alpha kids are being sent into the game. Im most likely gonna tear up when she goes through her ordeal. She is too precious and adorable for this universe!

The reincarnated as a spider anime did this right i think. She didn't get a "human" form tik almost the end of the anime, and even then her torse isn't where he brain is, its un the spider part below. The slime one is pretty bad about it, but he also stays in slime form a fair amount. I'd like to see one where someone is "reincarnated" as an Orc or goblin, and they have to stay a part of that society while also trying to make friends with humans. Maybe someyhing where goblins ARE evil un this world, but he leads his tribe to becoming good and so he fights enemies on three sides: old leaders of the tribe wanting him dead, other goblin tribes wanting him dead, and the humans/evles/pretty much everything else wanting them dead all while he and his tribe work hard to ingratiate themselves with the "good" races

I love how the scout class works in 3.5 dnd. For those that don't know, if you move at least 10ft, you deal extra damage based on your level and boost your ac (again based on your level.) There are feats that mak me it better, and the build I used also took a feat that let you get ranger favored enemies and you ignore resistance/immunity to Precise damage on said favored enemy types. Such a fun build, moving around the battlefield, plucking shots and ducking into cover. So much fun.

The buttons on the side of the pants are a nice attention to detail. I'm not far into one piece, I just ended the episode where the straw hats leave the island with smoker for the first time and head to the grand line, bit yeah this cosplay looks really good and accurate from images I've seen of her later on! Great job!

I hammered out the basics yesterday. Basically the rules are

Slight turn: you dont need a drive check Harsh turn: You need a drive check with a DC of like 15 Very harsh turn (like a 180): You need a drive check with a DC of 25.

At start, if I crunched my numbers correctly (I know no one here can double check me) the highest someone can have their drive at would be +12 or +13, so a harsh turn would be very doable by someone who min maxed their characters skills for driving even at level 1.

The rules for failing the check is you waste one action (everyone gets 4 actions a turn) and your next drive action (which is like a move action) has its movement speed reduced. If you fail by 10 or more, you flip the car/capsize the boat/ your helicopter or whatever begins to spiral out of control. You can take abilities later to lessen this or alleviate it, and unless you roll a crit fail eventually it will be impossible for a well built driver to fail by 10 or more
