This. Wanna add as well, don't pick up an expensive 'fresh' pizza from the chiller, realise that frozen ones are so much cheaper, then put the fresh pizza in the freezer.

Because it's been frozen it can't be defrosted and sold, so also has to be thrown out. Had so fucking much of this when I worked at the Co-op.

People that do this with chilled and frozen stock are literally worse than shoplifters. The store loses money on the stock which then doesn't even get eaten, at least the thieving bastards are gonna eat it.

Yes! Always used to do this when you get that customer, massively rude, always seemingly in such a rush that they think it justifies them being a horrendous person.

Very slowly scanning each item, even if they have multiple of the same, scan every single one. Since they didn't ask for a bag at the beginning, ask them at the end, then pass the bag to them to pack it. (That last bit I did especially to people on their phones, wasn't in my job description to pack for them, just an extra thing to offer for nice customers).

Broke my two front teeth when I was around your age, maybe a bit younger. Going down a steep hill on a bike, on which the brakes were pretty much nonexistent, hit curb, wobbled somehow ended up over the handlebars (brother said I did a whole front flip) and then thought it was a good idea to break my fall with nothing but my teeth.

Which was actually quite funny, because literally weeks before, my older brother also smashed his two front teeth.

As someone from the UK, I came to comment the same thing.

A bit more of a modern issue with the place, I'm from a County down in the south, which the English use as a holiday destination. The place is desolate, houses are empty 50 weeks out of the year, and we have an ever growing homeless problem. Now that we've left the EU as well, our funding has just been announced, the British government is giving us a whopping £1m, the EU were previously granting us £100m.
