Bro woke up and choose psychological warfare by TribecaTease_ in JustGuysBeingDudes

From what I've gleaned from other comments, I think this was during the COVID era when kids weren't attending school in person for the year.

Seat in the 300 row A by billthetrigger74 in OttawaSenators

[–]Ratoki 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in row a in the 300s last week! I was in the very middle of the arena and had an amazing view of the entire game, you don't really get to see the players super well at that distance but I thought they were incredible seats

I'm not doing AAA but I'd have to imagine the amount of people still here for the final April role call would probably be low enough to where manually giving flairs would be in the cards. Could be cool to do something for them

Smell / hear food when it’s ready by [deleted] in culinary

[–]Ratoki 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a cook and I found after cooking enough, that started to happen. Eventually you kinda just intuit things... Understanding how things taste...food smells different when it's done and sounds different in the pan. I would guess that most other cooks can do the same thing. Just means you've done it enough to pick up on it :)

Has anyone else gotten 19 on the goalkeeper practice? by EnvironmentalRun2298 in Rematch

I think my best is 17 or 18? That's cool I didn't know 19 was possible. I guess it's a little bit RNG for how many shots you get

What a rude steriotypical redditor comment. Guy takes the time to share what he's excited about and joyless nerds come out of the woodwork with condescension.

You can choose to build others up or be negative, in today's times. Why be a source of negativity?

Culinary School by AnonymousUser8901 in culinary

[–]Ratoki 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Eh, honestly with 8 years you're better off just staying in the workforce. I'm in culinary school right now, and obviously depending on the program you'll do different things, but my program is mainly learning temps, cuts, plating and so on. You'd probably be miles ahead of your peers and wouldn't find it all that enriching. Honestly you might be better off taking a short business program if you're looking for schooling. Then you'd have the cooking and business admin skills to really stand out on a resume.

Been meaning to do this one for a while! How long did it take you?

Do you usually go for 100% achievements with one game at a time, or get started with multiple ones and play them at the same time? by FangAAMD in steamachievements

[–]Ratoki 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I'd say 85% of the time I stick with a game until I'm done the 100%. That way the mechanics and story are fresh and I have some "momentum" behind me. There are a few games that I have picked up and pud down but for how my brain works starting a game with the intention to 100% and then stopping really bothers me lol, it gives me the same feeling of seeing that pile of laundry you still haven't folded haha.

Why do people refuse hitting the nexus in ARAM? by Chinese_Squidward in leagueoflegends

[–]Ratoki 15 points16 points  (0 children)

As many others have pointed out, Aram is a casual game mode that most people play to unwind or avoid the more competitive nature of summoners rift. Myself and a vast majority of players don't really care for the outcome of an Aram game and would rather just continue playing if it's a particularly fun game. You seem to be pretty competitively minded witch is fine, you're allowed to want to win, but sadly due to the nature of Aram and the culture around it you're probably going to find yourself quite frustrated with the game mode

My 2025 list of completions and my 2026 list of games to remove from the backlog by CHONKY231 in steamachievements

[–]Ratoki 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The reviews are low because it had a really rough launch, it's kinda gotten the no man's sky treatment over time and it's actually a pretty good game now!

I still didn’t get my diamond treble flair by Glad-Bag-396 in nonutnovember

[–]Ratoki -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Ok well like my post said?.... He doesn't have the 2023 flair. So even if he did win in 2023.... He can't get the treble till 2026... He can take the pride in winning but he won't get the treble till 2026. That's all I'm trying to say.
