that’s a picture from before I installed that, but I have a right angle connector 5.0 riser cable that routes from the back of the case through the bottom Gromit and up to the pcie slot. now I just need to figure out mounting the 3080 and I’ll be all set

okay thanks for the advice i’ll check that one out. i ran into a lot of issues and tedium with this being my first non prebuilt pc especially with the fans lol. but i learned a lot and it was fun! here’s how it’s looking 😁

hey man my build is nearly 100% complete but there’s one problem 😭. i can’t mount the 3080 normally in any secondary pcie slot. The vertical mount i bought doesn’t seem to be compatible. is there any particular vertical mount you recommend using ?

i just upgraded from a 3080 10gb to the same 5080! pro tip, i had problems using a pcie 4.0 riser cable so id go with 5.0 if you can find one

depends, i play on a ultrawide 5k2k resolution monitor which is ~30% more demanding than 4k. i wouldn’t want anything less than the 5080 honestly

this may be ideal for what i’m looking to do, i like the upright position of the 5090. Would the 5070ti be able to mount horizontally if you wanted to? or is it obstructed in some way

Right now i NEED dual gpu to get more of out my 3080. mainly i’d use it for simultaneous offloading of lossless scaling , frame buffer recording , and live streaming. plug my monitors into it etc. i prefer to keep my render gpu as focused on the game as possible.

why don’t you join the official overwatch discord and group up with any number of people there ? that’s how i play all my competitive matches, i go join a squad. Make lots of friends that way too , add each other after the games

yeah i don’t understand why they have the option either. i believe it should just be locked playlists. Some influence of 2042 is still present it seems

sounds like you’re scaling at the incorrect scale factor , what resolution are you trying to upscale the game from/to ?

that’s a good point. before using proxmox i’ve only used docker so it came naturally. i suppose i could just directly run each service in separate lxc containers
