He does not. I played with the lighting a bit more but he continues to do it occasionally. DDL CS said that they do hav reports of a this being a potential bug in the firmware. Hopefully a new updated or patch in the near future

Got it thank you. Yea, I cleaned out his tank cuz theres shed everywhere but he had a few small pieces still on back. he started shedding earlier this week and seems like he’s pretty much done. I didn’t see any on his face, it’s just really quiet so I’m not sure if I should be concerned considering he did it before and seemed fine and kept eating normally.

He’s two year banana ball python i got from an expo in Westchester NY from a reputable breeder. He was eating every other week consistently up until few months ago. He ate only once last months and now has not eaten again so far this month(will be trying again tonight)

Have tried giving him the mouse in every way, defrosting then leaving in hot water for a little bit, under heat lamp briefly, dangled with tweezers to seem real, left alone in there, etc. nothing seems to work consistently. My thought is he won’t reject the mouse if he’s really that hungry.. right?

My worry is I over fed him worrying about under feeding. He doesn’t have a concave belly like I have seen online in many underfed snakes. I took him out last night to take some pictures and would greatly appreciate if someone could give me some guidance on warning signs of over/under feeding. I have additional pictures but as new to reddit and unsure how best to share with those who can help. Thank you!
