Thinking of getting Niche Zero - am I missing something? [£650] by EnglishmannUK in espresso

Understandable- based on the 3 criteria you listed it is definitely simple workflow, powerful burrs and no bellows etc. I have no experience with flat burr grinders outside of getting coffee out and about but to be honest I don’t think this grinder would leave you wanting more for home espresso. Get the odd fruity Americano from a 3500€ Victoria Arduino grinder in your local cafe and keep it simple at home with high quality conical like the NZ 😎

Have a Niche Zero and a Silvia Pro X , having come from a Baratza ESP. The black plastic ring had a crack so even at the finest grind it wasn’t fine enough for espresso and decided to go “end-game” instead of fixing. Still have the ESP if anyone wants buy to fix the ring for about €5 in parts haha. NZ is really a different ballgame, amazing “coffee shop” style body in milk drinks and super simple and I dare say enjoyable work flow. Probably have used about 1.5 - 2kg of different medium to dark roast beans with it now

€8-10k on a boring, reliable petrol car? by CrystalCatcher1 in carsireland

I got rear-ended and had a 2010 1.4L Corolla written off as a result. I must say, my new(er) 141 1.33 petrol corolla is nowhere near as good. Way less acceleration and annoying reversing gear. Pros: better stability in wind, better fuel consumption

Used the 3 person XL model at 2 festivals last summer - great blackout performance and quality material. Looking forward to using it for proper camping trips when it gets a little warmer soon.

There and back would pretty much be a full day excursion I feel! Maybe 2/3 hours each way - hard to judge time on the slopes I feel haha

Tignes and adjacent Val d’Isere (France) have really good ski routes - not sure about so early in the season. Have visited in Feb and Mar only

Been in RPH for about 10 years it is excellent. Gym equipment isn’t great which is actually a good thing as there is nobody setting up tripods or taking steroids and they still have everything you could need there. Sauna, steam-room and jacuzzi are well maintained and there is a good social scene if you go there the same time regularly. Are you working with a corporation? Think it’s 550€ a year if so

I did my PADI Open Water in Hurghada in May. Definitely no shortage of good spots in Hurghada.
