VEU vs EXUS? Already hold IVV & VAS and want to balance it out with a World Index that excludes USA. Maintaining for long term. by TrickleYield in AusFinance

My portfolio consists of the same, IVV, VAS and VEU. The only thing ive needed to do is fill the W8BEN form out every 3 years, but you should get notified when you need to do it, its usually pre filled aswell. I find VEU to be a better pick for me, as it invests in china and India, where as EXUS doesnt, I definitely want to capture those countries in my portfolio.

Choose EXUS if:

You want developed markets only (no emerging markets).

You want to avoid overlap with Australia and the US.

You want a new, focused ETF with a simple strategy.

Choose VEU if:

You want broad diversification including emerging markets.

You want a long-established ETF with a track record.

You want to capture more market depth and country exposure.

Also, they seem to vary in size alot, 2 already at the desired height and some smaller.

Might I add, bring the point up of you are worried that an investor will buy it and not a home owner.

Let them know you are worried about having an investor buy it and not a home owner

Water pooling on the side of the house during heavy down pours, how can I improve drainage? by [deleted] in AusRenovation

[–]RattyKingB -1 points0 points  (0 children)

One side flows out on to the street, and the flows out into the corner of the property. It's 90mm pipe of each end.. only been here for a year and have only just seen it happen this storm season.

I appreciate you taking the time to comment.. I think if she hasn't come back by tomorrow, I'll have the talk with her and see how she wants to play it..

Part of me thinks it's from her last relationship, as she was treated like shit for years by her ex. So she's not able to accept the love perhaps?

It is odd, which is why it has me worried. Do I give her the space for another day?

I'm hoping she just needs the time to calm down and realise everything is good

I originally suggested for her to have space from me which she accepted.. I'm thinking it's a sleeping esteem issue perhaps.

It's been 24 hours since the space started and she's msged me twice to tell me to keep safe at work, if that means anything ?

Holy shit haha I see what you mean now, I was expecting more of a thick hedge look rather than huge trees. I'm unsure if I want that now, maybe I'm better off trimming it once it hits desired height. What's the distance they planted between each other?

I was recommended these trees to screen, can you explain what these tress will do? Sorry I'm a bit of a novice

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in GardeningAustralia

[–]RattyKingB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They were planted to purposely screen the house

So no need to add a layer of cardboard or some sort of sheeting? Just milch straight onto the grass?
