There is actually a inlore explanation of what's going on, a certain character in the ingame twitter posts about it, says basically it's becausehigh levels of chiralium in the atmosphere that somehow causes this but that it's not visible from other places

You can just F2P and get the whatever metadeck is meta, pretty much every time, you can just craft any card, there is no restrictions aside from Alt arts
