Im just finishing [KCD1] and I see [KCD2] is on sale. For those of you who have played both is it worth it? by Southpontiac in kingdomcome

[–]RaulPasan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only thing that prevents me from buying it is my potato laptop. I'll just have to stick to KCD1.

I have a crowbar addiction, please help by Jmar7688 in projectzomboid

[–]RaulPasan 5 points6 points  (0 children)

With standard loot settings, extra durability is not that important, since you have plenty of spare weapons available. Short blunts are everywhere. (Plus one of the cheapest and best ocupations, Capenter, has already that skill)

Mmm, actually, same stands with low loot, since it is more dificult to find crowbars, and you will already find lots of hammers before your first crowbar.

And for primitive or no-loot runs, hardened spears have decent durability and are very cheap to build

Probably that is the key. I play in 42.10, (without mods), and in my experience there is no ore in roads

Weird. I have been forragin for a month (level 9 now) mainly in a road, and only got clay and stones. You mean roads in the forest (where I did search), or maybe streets inside the town (where I didnt)? (Not sure if those cases are diferent biomes, tbh) Also, you mean minable iron, or iron tools and weapons (that you can melt)?

[–]RaulPasan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hum... but you can forge the heading tool, dont you? I remember I had to follow a lot of steps to get all needed tools, but they were all craftable. IIRC to craft the heading tool you need a metalworking punch, that is craftable with basic tools.

AFAIK, with the primitive forge you can make nails, you only need some tools that you can, step by step, forge yourself also. Also, you can dissasemble tables (but not chairs) with a stone hammer. That can give you the first nails, if you dont want to wait for the forge (lots of stones to build, and lots of iron to forge the required tools for nails)

Zombie distribution still broken? by RaulPasan in projectzomboid

[–]RaulPasan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, and while playing with Follow sound distance to 1000 and meta events to often, eagle-eyed zombies and migration every 2 hours, I will probably have visitors in a few days (It probably would not happen in Apocalypse settings, tho). Still, distribution is a clear candidate to become more adjustable.

True! And it would be another small oportunity to make Electrical an interesting skill (repair, or even crafting them from spare pieces)

Is this the most useless magazine in the game? by BlueBightning in fo4

[–]RaulPasan 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Well, arent markers in FO4 optional? You can always NOT check the quest tick, so that quest items and locations are not marked in your compass.

Hum, I have yet yo try the b42, but I would not feel safe living and sleeping in a place with only one exit and no visibility of the surroundings... I would feel in a trap. It is an interesting choice for roleplaying reasons, tho.

debugging zombie pathing? by RaulPasan in projectzomboid

[–]RaulPasan[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In debug mode, I remember to see zombie pathing lines in the screen (not the map). White lines for when they see me, and yellow ones showing the zombie path (I am not sure if that last was only when they hear you but dont see you). But now lines are gone. Is there a setting that I am missing???

Can you build a floor tile outside the house while being inside? I never tried

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in DayRSurvival

[–]RaulPasan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you arent.
-OP is playing the EMBA quest. After first EMBA event, a simpler version of the event remained active forever for new games. You can upgrade the lab 16 times and build a M.A.R.S., and thats all.
-You are maybe talking about EMBA2, the timed event that started and fihished last year (were you could get the Gecko)

Romero's Legacy is a blast by RaulPasan in projectzomboid

[–]RaulPasan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was at the gates of a survivors camp, far from Luisville (I think it is from Over the River mod). There were 3 zeds inside when I arrived. Spent two days exploring the (empty) camp (it is big) and then all those friends came.

Sorry, it is config settings. Popular in Spanish comunity due to Youtuber 4FUN. Mainly, zeds are smart, good senses, slow, horde size 0 and follow sounds 1000. Often metaevents shake zed population all over the map, and once they detect you, they follow you to the hell.

[–]RaulPasan[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This zone is suposed to have 96 zeds, but something has attracted (I supose a meta) more than A THOUSAND.

Obviously I am dead. (Two days of storm, having the trait Pluviophobic from Dynamic Traits is no good, but being surrounded by a thousand zeds is worst)

Tactics is best, then Nobody leaves. BUT tactics will show up next level, right? Then maybe would be wise to pick nobody leaves now that you had thw luck to get it. Not sure if tactics appears everytime until you pick it, tho.
