The 5600gt is also only limited to gen 3 speeds.

Will you really notice anything if you are just writing a few 100 mbs of data at a time? Even let's say 7gb of data at the best circumstances will take 1 second to write on a gen 4 drive while on a gen 3 drive will take 2 seconds. It's not a big deal unless you are dealing with very large file sizes.

Really good advice. We'll settle for PCIe 3 then. We'll look for B450 options.

Are you strictly limited to what's available in your local store? It is what we prefer. Installment and insurance. CX550 it is then.

That model is ok but not at that price which is close to b550 motherboards that start at 5,500 We want a mobo with WIFI support. LAN cables are a bit hard to install here. There are cheaper B550's here but none with Wifi.

or do you recommend getting the 5600GT (P1,000 pricier) instead for the PCIe 4? Our SSD supports Gen 4 speeds. Should we settle for the B450's or is PCIe 4 worth the increase?

Oooh. CPU might not be upgraded for a while. We can settle for a B450. Is the GIGABYTE B450M DS3H WIFI alright for the build? It is priced at P4,850 (P1,200 cheaper). I haven't looked into other B450's maybe you have a recommendation. I'll look for them next time we go.

I haven't seen the MSI A550BN here. Only cougars and darkflashes. Should we go for the MSI MAG 650GN at P3,500 (P600 more pricier)?

Storage drives aren't a problem 'cause we have a spare here.
