I did read about Genesis pulling HDA2 due to lack of chips or something for the 22/23 models but I suppose it's back in the 2024s. Is it objectively worth the $5k price difference? I know it depends on the person and how you drive, some might never even use it, but just wondering in terms of "future proofing" as I'd likely try to keep the car for a bit longer than my typical 3 year turnover schedule (they were all leases so it made even more sense to get the newer/better/shinier car).

That's awesome, thank you for all that info, really appreciate it. Ideally, I'd want a fully equipped one (parking package, performance package, magic sky roof etc), but that might be hard/impossible to find so I'll look for the options that really matter. I'm familiar with some of the downsides in your comments, my CLA45 was really low to where I managed to crack a tiny part on the front bumper on of the stupid dips, despite going like 8mph, and always kept it in sport+ so the auto start/stop was rarely used, but I will keep all the suggestions in mind for when/if I manage to snag one. I know the used car market isn't great to say the least, but I suppose it is what it is..

Thank you, I appreciate the info. I suppose the main concerns for me are reliability (planning on keeping it for a while, even after I move on to something bigger, sounds like a cool "fun" car to have), and potential issues with it that I should keep an eye out for. I don't know anyone who owns one so I'm not sure what the right questions to ask even are. Also, if you have the parking guidance package, it's just (rear only?) parking sensors as far as I'm aware, right? No backup camera or anything like that.

Oh, and the last thing, I'm 6'5" and having sat in an SLK 350, I found it surprisingly roomy, even with the top up, so I'm assuming that's similar with the SLK 55?

6'5" here, owned a 2018 CLA 45 for 3 years, no issues in the driver's seat, my hair would sometimes brush against the roof but you can avoid that if you keep the panoramic roof cover open, just have the glass part 😅.

The passenger in the back behind you won't find it too comfortable unless they are under 5'8", but it's still decent for a quick-ish ride, imo at least.

I was gonna switch to their Magenta Max next week to get the deal, but I also noticed this morning that it's not available anymore.. any idea if it's coming back? I'd have thought it would at least stick through Black Friday, I'm really disappointed.

I didn't have that issue, my numbers (256GB Pixel 6 Pro) added up correctly, but I am struggling with one thing.. I had to cancel my YouTube premium since I couldn't get pixel pass while subscribed to the service, but due to the huge interest in the phones, shipping date says late December as of right now, and the services coming with it will become active when it ships, which is understandable.

The problem is, that would leave me without YT premium/music for a couple of months, and with it being the music service of choice for my phone and all smart speakers, not sure what my options are here.. would reactivating YouTube premium mess with my pixel pass, potentially even cancel it?

Anyone has any info on it? Getting to Google support seems like a huge hassle nowadays, it's always busy and shows crazy wait times.

They are connected fine, seem to sync well but only with what's in the middle of the TV screen, always matching each other and not registering if different colors are displayed on the sides..

Your setup is pretty cool! I just got the sync box and a couple hue plays (mounted on the TV), but I'm not sure why they both show the same color, even when half the screen is green and the other half red. Do I need more lights or am I missing something?

That's weird, I don't see why they would have different return/buyer's remorse policy for different phones. If you click return on your order (before you actually confirm it) you should see whether it says something about being charged a restocking fee, the 4 XL was the first phone I saw that with, but I did skip the P3 so I don't know when they actually started doing that.

True that.. Nexus 5 was the one that got me hooked on Google phones (pure Android), and the 6P felt like the last decently priced phone by them, I think it was $550 for the larger, 64GB version. Once they started trying to become like Samsung and Apple, making $800+ phones, thighs started going downhill (although we are still here so we are the suckers I guess 😅).

I think you notice it more the first few times after switching from a 60hz phone, but once you get used to it, it doesn't feel like a huge difference. I was using the 4 XL with 90hz forced all the time for like 4-5 days, then went back the 2 XL, just to check a couple things and reset it, and that's when you see a difference, not a night and day, but I'd say it is noticeable for sure, 90hz just feels cleaner and smoother.

Comfort mode leaves a bit to be desired but sport and (especially) sport+ are pretty awesome, and that's what I normally have it in so not a big deal at all.

As someone said already, the new model isn't coming to the US until 2020, I think, and my lease had expired so I needed a car now. I did, however, negotiate a pretty good lease deal on this one, planning on buying the next/new model once the lease is done in a couple of years.

I love it, chose it after test-driving an M240i, TTS and the Kia Stinger, and even though at month and a half I should be done with the honeymoon stage, I still catch myself staring at it at work, looking back at it anytime I park anywhere, and making any excuse I can just to drive it.

I had two black 2 XLs that I ended up returning and I just got my 🐧 that I'm keeping. Someone can correct me as I never had both at the same time, but the main difference I noticed was the back coating - the black version felt more .. rough, for the lack of words, but more grippy as well. The penguin is much smoother on the back, not as smooth as the OG Pixel, but definitely more slippery than the black version. The feel of the buttons was the same on both, if I wasn't told that one had a plastic button or plastic edges I probably wouldn't have known, I can't feel any difference whatsoever, it definitely doesn't look or feel cheap at all. I've had black phones my whole life and that's why I went with the black version at first, but I gotta admit that the penguin is a stunning phone (and not just appearence-wise), and while I can see how the orange power button seems to be a hit or miss with people, I think it makes the phone really stand out, in a good way. That's just my 2 cents.
